mAnic Monday WLS Express
Nope! We got about 1/2 inch at our house...and the worst spot in Hampton Roads only got an inch. Northern VA got it MUCH worse than we did. I swear, we live in the ONLY area of VA that doesn't get tons of snow on a regular basis! LOL It only snowed on Saturday afternoon here. It was really beautiful falling - HUGE flakes. By mid morning Sunday it was all gone even though the temps didn't go above 32. The sun was so pretty and bright that it melted anyway. I was really hoping to have the kids home for a few days again this week. We had such a good time last week. I LOVE being snowed in - as long as we don't lose power, that is. :)
Hope y'all thaw out soon. I don't know how I'd manage with a 2 feet of snow like DC got. Last weeks 6-8 inches was plenty for me. :)
Good Morning OH Family!
Yep......I'm still around. lol I don't log on much because this old computer is sooooo slow and freezes up all the time. First of all big hugs and prayers for my Gina. My heart hurts for yall. I can't even imagine what his mother is going thru. Things are pretty calm at the Schulenberg's. We are looking for Rick another dog.Just taking our time trying to find the right fit. I'm not liking my new position at work as well as I did my old one. I like being busy but this one is frantic busy I've figured out that I'm averaging around 8 to 12 miles a night of walking. When I'm off work I don't feel like doing anything but resting. I'm hoping to change shifts soon I think that will help. Well I guess I better at least do something productive today. I miss my peeps, hope to see at least some of you soon.

Not morning anymore but just got a chance to read all through the train. Can't reply individually as I want but know i'm reading and praying.
Back at work and it took a lot to walk in that door, after the day I had Friday. I did find an email from the National Sales guy apologizing for making me cry and thanking me for my dedication to my job. Course not a WORD from my supervisor - apparently I am the plague to her. So, I put a bug in her managers' boss that I might want to include her in future emails and she was all for it. I am really working on my self confidence and standing up for what I know is right.
My Emm is home sick today. She came home from her trip at 3 yesterday, showered and crawled into bed. She woke up long enough to cough all over me and tell me she felt horrible. So she is medicated and back to sleep. Maddie is there to watch over her. If I could just teach Maddie to fold clothes, I'd be set!
Prayers for so many today, especially our Richard and sweet baby Brayden. Eric, Meggie, Doug and all others, you remain in my daily prayers.

First day on the client site was uneventful. My "boss" actually wasn't even here. Some story about a sick kid at home. Hopefully he's on his way in now and I can get some kind of idea exactly what it is I'm supposed to be doing for the project besides adding a bit of southern charm! I met all the team members today and they all seem to be good people but time will tell.
I'm here 'til Thursday then I'm not sure if I'll be coming back Monday night or Tuesday - King and his heart cath Monday morning has me in limbo. I think I already told this story ... my brain is mush right now. Since I'm going to miss at least one day next week, I'm going to spend the weekend of the 20th here in San Francisco. Catch up with some old friends from my prior time I spent out here on the way west side of the world.
I had planned on doing a little exploring this evening but it is raining, so here I am in my pj's at 7:15 and seriously considering calling it a night.
