Off The Wall..........
Age has a part in it also. I don't know how old you are, but you are much younger than me and looks are less important after you hit 50, or at least it seems so to me. (Or maybe it's just me).
Also consider that you can't really "undo" the damage from being morbidly obese. You can have plastics and get rid of the saggy skin, but you will have scars in its place. At some point you have to face the music and say "meh - this is as good as it gets". Kinda like a mid-life crisis where you realize your life didn't turn out the way you expected and your chances to change it are dwindling. You can't force yourself to be happy about it, but you can focus your energy on other things that do fulfill you.

you can tell my age from the strength of my lightening, right? heh heh....I bet we are a lot closer in age than you might think, but thanks.....I did do this for my health like a lot of other people but I also wanted to look dang good!.......Guess I was hoping to get to wear the mini skirt I was never able to wear first time around. Thanks.

Thanks. We are so hard on ourselves....... Now you are talking about looking good in clothes and that is a lot easier to do! If you are still wanting to lose more weight then don't give up - just keep following the rules of your surgery and you will get there. Regardless, we all have to work at finding clothes that flatter our figure and some things you are just stuck with. I'll never have long legs and a small butt - hell, I didn't have a small butt when I weighed 118 pounds! But I had a small waist and that was what I tried to emphasize. Still do.
It is important to me to look good in clothes because it affects my career as a professional. I am getting higher profile projects now that my site manager isn't ashamed of how I look. Sad, but oh so true. I don't need a perfectly flat stomach or even a normal BMI (I am 10 pounds away from that - still in the Overweight category but I don't care). I just don't want anybody mentally cringing when I get up to give a presentation.
Oh - and try to start believing when people you work with tell you that you look good. Unless they work FOR you and are kissing your tushie then I am sure they sincerely mean it! I haven't lost an ounce in 3 months, but my weight is shifting and I am shrinking in some areas and look smaller - you may be, too.
