Superbowl Sunday WLS Express

Today's the day!  Today's the day! Yeah, it's finally here.  Just about six hours until flight time.  I'll be missing the game, but I don't really have a vested interest in it - I'm sure there will be plenty of replays of the commercials in the coming days.

I just keep humming "San Francisco Where I Come" over and over and over.  And the "Right back where I started from"  part, well yeah - that's right - my first consulting gig was just north of the SF Bay.  Friends in the Bay Area will make this pretty enjoyable and the fact that my new boss is my old boss ain't too shabby either!

Suppose I should play The Good Wife and cook his majesty some breakfast this morning.  We've already had the "I better not come home to another mess this week" talk - I was not a happy camper with his lack of picking up after himself while I was gone last week.  He's gotten used to me being here and doing it all again - and he needs to get his groove back!  LOL

I'll be two hours behind - so if there's any important, urgent or juicy gossip going down somebody text me!

Does that mean the house has to be perfect by the time you get here on Tuesday??  Not sure it can happen, but I have been trying.  You do remember that I got short changed on that gene, dont you???

Hey Train Riders.  Not such a great day here.  Definitely need your prayers for my church.  Our senior minister resigned today at the request of our elders.  Several families are leaving the church and I don't know where we will end up as a result of this.  It was a very difficult morning, and while I am very sad and will miss his preaching, I'm also hopeful that we can move forward and become a better church in the long run.

Trying to get my head away from that for a while, so I'm going to play on the computer some and then probably go watch the Superbowl with some friends.  Hope everyone has a great day.

Better late than never-right? How is everyone? I woke with a horrible headache but it went away-yeah. At noon we left to run errands. The electric cart at Wal-mart is alot faster than the one in Target. I'm just disgusted that I have to use on in the first place. I know the pain is getting worse because I'm having to actually take pain medication which I hate doing. I try to get by with Alleve or ice/heat during the day and then when I get home take some and rest the rest of the evening. Its non-narcotic pain medication so I don't have to worry at least about becoming addicted to it! I thought Bryan and Chris were going to leave me behind yesterday because I knocked 4 coats off a rack when I turned a corner too short in WalMart last night! Today I did better!

We are going to have a pj super bowl watching evening. Just us 3. Chris is doing homework he "forgot" that I discovered when going through his back right now. He'd better move it because its 25 minutes to kick off. He asked to watch it this year so we are.
