I just got off work - and ready for bed - I never drive this thing so hold on tight

I'm not feeling to great - stomach problem -  I have to be back at work at 1 this afternoon - so off to bed.

I am up wayyy too early this Saturday. But Emm is leaving on a bus with her Leo club to spend the night on the USS Lexington in Corpus.  So it's almost the whole weekend to me... so I will be working on redoing HER room! lol.  She has been very very patient and I promised her she would actually have a matching bedroom comforter set. So I am on a mission.

I will do for me also. NEW haircut, color and new makeup.  Maybe if I don't recognize this old face in the mirror, it will be better! lol

Asking for prayers for some resolution with problems at work - again and STILL.  I was absolutely thrown under the bus yesterday and I actually was crying over the phone to my national sales guys. I was promised that my supervisor would handle a large large $3 million problem (by her supervisor and BFF) and, as usual she didn't.  The company lost the contract and the NAM threw it on ME. The NAM realized that I was powerless, after my crying and he tried to calm me down by singing to me like a baby. lol.  Anyway,  She had no excuse and basically laughed it off (she is in San Diego).  I am at the point of going over her supervisor (and BFF) since my pleas for help have not helped. I am not a whistle blower and I need my job. But the new person that is over both these women is my old boss and she takes no crap off anyone.  okay ..long long story but I need direction.

Time to wake the child and get this weekend going.  Prayers for all in need in body mind and spirit.

Good morning.  Today has to be better than yesterday (hopefully)...mostly because I'm off work.  I got thrown under the bus too by my superior.  I did what I thought I should have in an ARD meeting.  It wasn't what the parent wanted.  The AP didn't say a word and then the parent reported it to TEA.  My boss supported the parent because she makes a lot of noise and talks you to death so you just give in.  Oh well.  I know I did what I should have.  I won't have a professional opinion next time and the AP will run the meeting, not me.  Guess he won't get to text during that one!  The best part was I got a dressing down in front of our whole office instead of private.   I can retire after next year...I smell freedom!

I will be working at our churches climbing tower today.  I think we're done around 2, so at least it's not ALL day!  Laundry and housework to do when I come home.

Karla that SUCKS!!!!  We have a parent like that right now in our building.... we all know she is preparing for a lawsuit... no leg to stand on but it won't stop her from trying to make us all dance when she snaps her fingers!!  Damn... I wish I could smell freedom... I've still got 10 years to go!!!

Another quick fly by for me.. nice to see my lady GAYE's smiling face driving this morning. Im off to work for couple hours till 1 or so then some play time. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Let me thank Tigger the bouncey cat for rousting me out of bed so early this morning.  She makes it her personal mission to be a substitute alarm clock for me on my days off.

Like Danni, I paid my car off this month-WOOHOO and will soon be getting my convertible top replaced.  It's had a rip in it for about 2 years and sports a lovely strip of black duck tape to keep it from leaking.  Just when you think you'll have some extra $$, the next 3 "car payments" will be going towards a new top.

We've got 2 couples coming over for dinner tonight and the house needs a serious cleaning so I will spend the day doing that.  It's been months since I've seen them so I can't wait.  (Yes, I have "OTHER" friends, but they're not as close to me as you guys are.) 

I tried last night to call Verizon and cancel my Fios TV but there's no way humanly possible to TALK to a person.  I swear it's all automated or they tell you to go "online" where an "automated customer service person" can help you.  Plus we don't have a Verizon phone so we can't do anything online cuz they always ask for that number to access your account.  VERY FRUSTRATING!!  I'm so ready to have direct TV back.

Anyway, enough complaining from me, my problems are minor compared to most.  Have a super day surrounded by those you love.

Good morning Train Riders!  I'm up and ready to go, just waiting on Jeff to become a human so he can leave the house with me.  Getting ready to head out to IKEA to see whoever shows up, then we are going to drive around and look at apartment complexes that my locator sent us.  We can't go in and look at them yet, or we might miss look and lease specials, but we are going to go check out the areas and see if we like them enough to go back in a week or two.

Tonight we're heading over to the in-laws for FIL's birthday, so we need to stop and get him a card too.  We've also got to see if we can fit the dumpster dresser into my car and take down to their house to store until we move.  I'm hoping it will fit, otherwise they will have to come up here and get it in FIL's SUV.
