Good Morning My TMB Family,

I woke up grumpy this morning.  Sooo tired of looking at snow.  Yes we got more last night and we are getting ready to have more over the weekend.  So tired of it.  To top it off I have to go for an injection this morning at 11 so nothing to eat or drink after Midnight last night.  Actually cheated and had a cup of coffee.  I needed it.  This doctor I am seeing does not actually put you out he just gives you a local and numbs the area up so I dont think coffee will hurt any.  Mark is going to take some time off and take me.  He gave me a tens unit yesterday and I really like it. Ok enough about me.  Let me see if I can give some shout outs.  Dont be offended if I forget you.  Memory is not all that great.

Liz: Hows the job going are they keeping you busy?

Gina: Are you feeling better?  Sure hope so

Alissa: Hows the foot after your last shot

Viv: Hope you are following your heart.

Meggie and Ken: I sure hope you are feeling better.  No more trips to ER!

Jenny and Eric:  Hope this last round of Kemo was a success.

Have a blessed day you guys. Love you!

Good morning! MICHELLE-thanks for the shout out-I do believe maybe I'm gonna live to ***** my way thru another day...still coughing, etc, but not nearly as often, and, when I do it's deeper and harder, so maybe I'm finally getting down to the "bottom of things". I go to the doc for my follow up this morning. I've been very good about taking my meds, etc-everything excwpt taking off work..but, well...y'all know...I DID take off one day last week and stayed in bed 24 hrs-that's HUGE for me!

Work is getting very frustrating again...was kinda fun there for awhile...the patients are still precious, of course...this  ismy Director of Nurses's last week, and yesterday the Corp Nurse and my Admin interviewed a DON who already has a TERRIBLE reputation in the community, etc. They went so far as to ask MY opinion, then totally ignored what I said-so WHY ask?..sigh...I bet they hire her anyway, cuz probably no one else applied...Doesn't matter TOO very much to me personally...I just do "my thing" no matter what...but will sure add to the already stressful atmosphere for EVERYONE, and that ALWAYS trickles down to the patients, and THAT'S what makes it all WRONG WRONG WRONG ! Okay...sermon over...

okay..a WOO HOO...planning to book ressies for the cruise this weekend...my eating is on track...working on my water drinking...exercise is a bit non-existant, since breathing has been such an effort, but I KNOW I will be back on track (and THE track..lol) by next week.....

Prayers all around with special ones for ERIC R and MEGGIE

I LOVE Y'ALL AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!

T-yes ma'am...lol...I honestly cannot do very much. I get as breathless as an 80 year old just walking the length of the halls at work...granted, I tend to walk quickly, and the halls are long, but still..it's a little un-nerving. I HAVE been keeping up the "lie on the floor" strength stuff"-very little air required!

I'm so excited that you're gonna book your cabin for the cruise.  Remember-Main deck, odd room number if possible.  All us old married couples need to be close to each other.

Hey I resemble that remark!! LOL I was thinking, our Anniversary is on Valentine's Day, 29 years, but we started dated in September of 1980, so the cruise will mark 30 years together (if I don't kill him before then!!). So this will be a great celebration for us!!! I am going for the Main Deck, Odd numbered room as well, because I'm odd like that!! LOL

I can't wait to spend more time with you guys!!  Clay and I have been married 26 years and have been together 29.  Damn, that's a LONG time!!  Last cruise we took was for our 20th anniversary.  He got the Norwalk virus and was quaranteened (along with 600 other people) for 5 of the 7 days-I bet this one will be more fun.

Good morning- a bit later for me because today is jury duty for me!

I'm trying to stay positive because yesterday I just wanted to sit and cry-which I did do alot of. And ya'll know that's not my thing. My foot hurt so bad Monday and then yesterday too and I was just so upset about it. its been about 6 months since I started having real pain and its been 4 months since surgery. PT makes me hurt worse but I kept going because the doctor told me too. So it all came to head yesterday at 3:30 when I saw the doctor. He came in, asked how I was doing and I told him I wasn't any better- in fact worse. He said he had just read my PT reports citing just that and he said- I've never had to do this, but I'm going to have to go back in. And with that I just burst into uncontrollable tears. He took an x-ray and thinks he sees a possible cause for the pain but wants an MRI just to be sure. I go for that Friday afternoon. Since I have jury duty I decided to go ahead and wait a few days before going-just in case. He wanted it today as he said if he has to operate there is no point in wasting time and keeping me in pain.

So- there you have it-another surgery. I'm SOOO not wanting this. BUT I can't imagine staying in this kind of pain anymore. I'm worried about leave from work, as i'm so swamped already. I'm already helping cover another counselor's caseload because her husband has cancer and she's out with him. And I have an intern starting in 5 weeks under my supervision. GRRR! Can I just cut off the foot? Okay- enough whining- I'm sorry. I know others have far worse issues that a bum foot.

I saw Shawn Marie posted on facebook so I'm hoping that means she's healing well. Prayers for Eric as he goes to the doc next week for tests and hopefully a plan for the next step. Not knowing the exact plan is so hard. Any update on Meggie? I didn't get on FB much yesterday to check. Prayers continue for her.

Hope everyone has a great day. I'll let you know if I get picked for a jury or if I just got to sit at the courthouse and catch up on my reading!
