Thankfull Sunday WSL Express
Good Morning My TMB Family,
We have about 6 inches of snow on the ground and it is 16 outside. I am so glad I have no where to go today. Mark will be home this afternoon just hoping the plane does not get delayed or cancelled. Guess I should check the airport site later. I am reading Mackensie Phillips book and am almost done with it. Going to try and fini**** today. That woman really should not be alive..Eric talked his friend yesterday before his parents took him to the Hospital. I know it was great for Eric to talk him and I got an email saying that his friend was really glad he called. Please continue to keep them in prayer. He was admitted to the Hospital yesterday. Eric went out bowling last night with his friend from school. I did not expect them to go because of the snow, but guess not everyone is like me and not go out in the snow. I am thankfull today, for the ammount of faith I have, for all of my chosen family, and for all of my blood family, for Mark and for Jon my grandson. I could go on and on. Life is really good even when I dont feel like it is. Prayers this morning for all spoken and unspoken. Special ones for Jenny and Eric, Meggie and Ken and for Viv and her family. Love you guys. Have a blessed day
Good morning!!! Well no snow here but it sure is cold..........brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! I hate that I'm wide awake this early... may go back to bed to just get warm!!! All the heat rises upstairs so it's always freezing downstairs! Got all my errands done yesterday and my taxes!!!! So today other then a little laundry and cleaning to do I don't plan on doing much! Going to jump on the treadmill as soon as everyone else gets up... then maybe hook up with Donna and her kids later today.
Prayers and ((hugs)) to all who need them today!!!!

Michelle I bet you kinda miss the warm temp in Texas. But, as you know it goes up and down. Today and yesterday it was cold.
Last night was the first night home. I took something to sleep. As I said on FB good thing he didn't need me. Because I know he got up because the bathroom light was on. :) He did has the doc about losing weight. He said not way right now. Isn't it funny he told him protein protein protein.. Sound familiar. So, I Will get out to Costco and buy it in bulk. It is so much cheaper. Lot's of chicken for him on the way. Thanks for all your support on him. He appreciates it too.
My eating has not been the best. I am ready to get back to the boring routine. It is easier to eat right. I go back to work on Tuesday. I know he will do good. It will just be a trying time for him.
So yall get out there and make the best of the day.. Hugs and much love to everyone of yall. Prayers to all that need them.
Smile, it increases your face value.
Kathy,
I do miss the temp but I miss the people so much more. If I could pack up all my friends in Dallas and in Burk and bring you here I would be ok...We are snowed in for today, well except to go over to the base to get Mark, that is the one exception cause I dont drive in the snow. Your hubby is lucky to have a great nurse maid (did you pull out the short white nurses uniform yet? LOL)like you to take care of him! I am sure you are right by his side. My prayers will continue for both of you! Love you!
Excited about starting the new job tomorrow. This week is just orientation, getting new laptop, signing up for benefits and all that good jazz. I'll be back home Wednesday night and work on administrative stuff Thursday & Friday. Next week I will start traveling to San Francisco. The first few weeks I may travel out on Sunday early evening, but hopefully after that I can catch an early Monday morning flight (the advantage of flying west instead of east). Most weeks I'll be coming home Thursday afternoon, not that I'll get back in Dallas early Thursday evening, but I will have Friday's as a work from home day.
I've got my bag packed already with the exception of the things I need in order to get ready. Vitamins in their little container, protein bars in suitcase and purse, iPod is charged - I guess I haven't forgotten how to do it after all.
Kathy - take care of Doug. Don't let him overdo anything. I know you got access to some handcuff's and leg irons if you need them. Just sayin' ... LOL
I'm not traveling with my laptop because I'll be bring one back on Wednesday and it's just too much of a hassle to go through airport security with two these days. I may or may not be able to access OH until I get back to Dallas. Somebody text me if there's any news worth passing around. I might not respond immediately, but I'll get around to answering all texts after the orientation classes are over or during breaks.
Have a great week ya'll ... I know I will.
