My quest to find resale shops
Well I drove into Sugarland today on a quest to find clothes at a resale shop. Went to one and couldn't get out of there fast enough. All teenage-clothes and the XL's looked like smalls to me. Went to another that turned out to me a second hand household items kinda store. No clothes, but I got a great necklace, bracelet, and earrings for $6.00. Tried a couple other places but I completely struck out.
I've decided that it's too much trouble for me to look for any more resale stores. I ended up at Avenue and got some great stuff.

That is so true! For some reason, every 6 months Kohls sends me a $10 gift card. Just out of the blue. I go in with the card, pick up two or three shirts from the clearance rack and end up having to spend $2 or so of my own money.
I also use the Walmart clearance racks. They normally put the short sleeved shirts on clearance in November or so. $5-$7 each. I wear short sleeves all year, because if I am cold, I wear a jacket.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
Have you been to Goodwill? You have to hunt through stuff but I found some great stuff there! A few weeks ago I got 2 pair of Gap jeans and a denim skirt for $20. That's where I donated all my clothes as I outgrew them... some barely worn so I figure other people do the same thing... why not shop there!

At GOAL and BMI is healthy!!
I LOVE Goodwill, too. I still shop there for jeans, even though I'm at goal. Another good thing about Goodwill is that you can try on different brands of jeans and see which ones fit best. The Goodwill I go to must have at least 500 pairs of jeans to look through. I've gotten good at looking through them quickly.

I like the one NW of Houston on Jones and 1960. It's a big one.
