Good Morning My WLS Family,

It's finally Saturday and I am hoping a lot of you are still sleeping and not having to head out into the cold.  Looks like Texas got lots of snow and ice.  We are due for it this afternoon at some point.  It's certainly cold enough to snow.  21 this morning.  When I got up this morning I found Eric sound asleep on the couch with the TV blareing...Oh I dont like that at all because the minuet I star****ching the news he is awake..So much for my ME time this morning.  Mark will be home tomorrow afternoon.  I cant wait.  It's only been a week but it feels like it has been forever.  My PC called me yesterday instead of having to go in, and he was putting in a referral for me to see a Bariatric surgeon.  I am hoping that this one will do a little more then my last doctor did. Danni hope you are having a wonderful time with Tim.  Lots of memories and fun times with the kids.  Have been thinking about you.  Thank you for all the prayers for Eric's friend.  I got am email this morning from his Mom saying they were going today at 11.  She did ask that Eric call this morning so I am going to make sure that happens.  It just breaks my heart every time I think about it.  Ok no plans for today just to cold to go outside.  Eric is supposed to be going bowling with a friend but we will see.  Prayers this morning for all those spoken and upspoken needs, and special prayers for Meggie, Ken, Kathys hubby, Eric and Jenny.  Have a blessed day.  Stay warm.  Love you guys

Good morning! Looks cold and wet out-at least from the window-I haven't ventured out yet. I'm trying to decide if I feel "well enough" to venture out to RNS-am thinking I may try to get Richard to take me. I have a little time before I have to haul myself out of this warm, comfy recliner and make a solid decision. MEGGIE and LORALEA may be there, and I sure do miss them-plus JACK, whom I never get to see anymore..sigh...*****moan..

I'm planning to make cruise ressies this week. A friend of mine just got back from the same ship and the crew was telling her about the planned renovations. Mary said it looked great to her NOW, so the changes must gonna be spectacular.

OMG..the original "Saturday Night Fever" just came on. How can you sit still during "Staying Alive...Disco is NOT dead..lol...

Time to climb out of this chair-which means unearthing 3 chihuahuas first-and get some coffee...then back to enjoying some young Tony Monero....

I watched that movie over and over again.  Loved Disco then and love it now!  Crazy huh?   John Travolta has only got better looking over the years!  Please take care of yourself today and if your not feeling up to going out into the cold stay under a blanket in your recliner and relax.  Lots of fluids!  Love you!

Good Morning Yall, Michelle thanks for starting the train. Not much going on in my world.. LOL
I'm back at the hospital bright and early. My dad mad me promise I would go home  and sleep in my own bed for the first time. As soon as my head hit the pillow I never woke up but 1 time. That was at 4:30 this morning.  Doug wanted me to make sure I told each and everyone of you thank you so much for all the prayers and well wishes.  Everyone said that the third day would be the worst. But, by the way he is doing this morning, it might be today:( We were hoping we could go home today.. We will see..
Since it is hectic and I am stressed,,,, my eating is the worst it has been in forever!! But, as soon as his butt goes home.. good food will be noting but nutrition's for us..
I hope all of yall have big plans for the weekend. I know what I will be doing..  Go out there and enjoy your day..

You just sleep, take vits, and drink lots of fluids.  The rest you can right when you're not exhausted and stressed out. 

I know we all like to put on our superwoman gear and conquer the world, but PLEASE let us help.  Maybe we can cook for you and rotate bringing some meals over. Without doing anything I feel comletely useless.  I'm a really good cook. I promise.  And if you're nice and let me help, we'll get my culinary son to whip up some devilish concoction that'll melt your sock off.  He made zambiglione last night. it was so sweet, I only had a bite but it was heaven. So think about that.

We had date night last nigh****ched the govenors debate and argued silly points until we were on the floor laughing. Who would have ever thought at 40 something you'd watch a political debate and call it date night?!?!?! Not me.  Anyway, it was a nice way to end my week and kick off the weekend.

GOOD MORNING! I slept until 5:30am and then went to watch tv in the living room and fell asleep until 7! I guess I needed the sleep.

Crazy I know. Tomorrow is Inspire Your Heart with Art so get out those art supplies and make something creative. Chris and I are going to make valentines with a kit I bought so maybe we'll do that tomorrow!

Scentsy/Chocolate Martini party is tonight!! If you didn't see my evite or post on facebook and want to come, come on. Just PM me and I'll give you directions. It starts at 7pm and there will be lots of fun and chocolate.

Good morning.  I slept in until 7 and then exercised before getting on here.  I will work on Ben's T-shirt quilt today.  I hope I have time to get the top finished.  We are going to "Miss Polk County".  It's usually a great evening out here.  You have to remember we don't have a lot here.  They pull a few out of the woods to compete sometimes and you never know what you'll see for talent: dancing, singing, acting, and I've actually seen a skit with pretend dead bodies laying around....it's always interesting.  My cousin is coming up from Alvin and going with my sister, niece and me and Ben.  We love to critique!  It would make a great OH girls weekend sleepover event one year.  Unfortunately, I might be banned from going again.  I can see some of ya'll rolling on the floor laughing at what you might see.  Naturally the year one of my nieces won several years back, she sang the Porgy and Bess song that Fantasia sang 2 times on AI.  Audrey did it first!  She has as good or better voice as Fantasia and wowed the crowd. 

Off to work on my quilt!
