I would love some input regarding Curves gym/meal plans etc.  My daughter just joined and is trying to get me to go with her.  I was wondering if anyone on here has tried it and what you thought about it.  Would love your input!

I did Curves for 2 yrs. in the beginning of my journey.    It is a good "beginners" type gym if  you even would call it a gym.    You work a circut of machines and then step in place in between the machines.    If has no weights to lift or anything.    That being said I lost way over 100" while going there and 140 but then....I had just had my RNY too.    If you are wanting to tone skin.....I would say it wouldn't work.....that is why I am no longer there and a member of a regular gym.    I imagine if you were to go in and ask they would give you a week free membership to try it out and see if it is for you.   I know the one that I went to did that for people....they did that for me.     Good luck in your decision.    Remember though....you get out of it what you put into it.    I did Curves 6 days a week and went around the Circut 2 X;s each day.

I LOVED curves when I was first starting out  - it does depend on the club - mine was super suportive and that ment more than the working out - I don't like their shakes - soy is not good for me - but other than that their lowcarb diet plan is decent

I quit curves when we moved b/c the club where we went was not the loving caring suportive place I had been used to

I would suggest paying for ONE month  - even though it is more and see if you feel support at hte club - that was the main plus for me

peace
