Good morning all! KATHY-you made me laugh-BEFORE coffee-quite an accomplish, girl! I'm all coffee-ed and showered now-feel like maybe I can function enough to climb aboard...
Feeling better this morning..maybe that "rest" stuff DOES help. Would like to "rinse and repeat" today, but really need to go to work, or it would just really, really pile up and I'd be facing a truly huge mess later, that would make me sicker than ever all over again...
Against my own medical advice, I ventured out and went to my baby's Football Banquet last night-and I'm so glad I did. Being his last one, I just could NOT miss it. He was chosen to give the opening prayer..where he thanked his MAMA ...awwwww...and, among his awards was "Offensive MVP" He also got the "Owl Pride" that Seniors who played all 4 years get (he's played since Pre-K-he thought he should get a special award..lol)...It was a pretty special night. I've known alot of those "kids" since Kindergarten, so it was a "no-miss" night all the way around..
Special prayers for OUR Doug and Eric, and their wives, our SISTERS !!
Hope everyone enjoys their blessed, rainy, cold day...
I LOVE Y'ALL AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!

I have a prayer request. I spent last evening in the ER with Sherry Cortez. She was having high abdominal pain, kinda funny Angie thought she was having labor pains! They gave her IV fluids, some good pain meds and she got a CT Scan. The scan was clear so the doc thinks she was having spasms in her digestional track. He sent her home with pain meds, orders to rest her bowels and a pat on the head. IMHO he missed it. She does not have a gallbladder, and I really think there is a blockage or stricture somewhere in there. She and John are planning on moving to Plainview next week to help take care of his Dad, so lots of love to them both. FYI, Angie is doing great. She looks good and has a great attitude after losing her precious Chloe. She wants a job now to fill the empty spaces. She has worked in property management in the past so if you hear of anything.....
Today is close of the month for me at work. Should make for a short day and hopefully it will be easy. Then I am picking up Charlie to come play/work in the shop with Tom and Liz may come play with the kids and me!! Happy Day!!
Well, I have to get off this couch, get to work before the ice and hopefully get home before the really cold temps get here. Be safe, know you are loved, prayers said for us all.
Love you lots

We're getting into a routine with Jeff being in school. I didn't realize how adding another hour onto his class night would make a difference, but he doesn't get home till after midnight so I only get to see him for about 15 min in the morning while he's getting ready for work. Going to have to work on better time management so we don't becoming ships passing in the night.
Not much on my schedule for the weekend, thank goodness. I've got to hit the grocery store after I put the menu together for the next couple of weeks. I'm hoping to find some good sales/deals to make our grocery budget stretch more than I have been. Prayers going out for healing for many people, and jobs for those still looking.
Hope everyone has a fantastic day!
