Here we take a stab at another day of good eating...we can do it!  Have you ever wished you could eat "regularly" again and tried?  You generally find out that you can eat a few bites/small amount of what you wanted and it filled you up, grossed you out, or it sure didn't taste like you remembered.  Sometimes we do mourn for our old eating habits.  Take a look at pre-wls pics of yourself and look in the mirror.  It will probably help you carry on for at least another day.

Today's plan for me:
lots of liquids
protein coffee already downed
pro joe drink (like believe and achievone drinks but from bariatric eating)
bbq meat plate for lunch (don't remember what all is on it. will concentrate on meat)
have no plan for dinner...will decide when I get home.
sf pistachio pudding

what's your plan for today?

Good morning!!!  I will be so glad to get the weekend started in about 10hours!!!!  It has been a long and stressful week for me... looking forward to having some time to get my head on straight and move forward!!!!  I am going to try and do mostly liquids/soft food for the next 3 days.  I am thinking I might need a fill but sometimes liquids for a few days will shrink the pouch just enough that I don't need one!!!  Here's hoping....

B: greek yogurt
S:SF apple cider
L: Oh yeah RTD
S: sf jello
D: ham/cheese soup
S: Believe RTD

 Good Morning TMB,

It's finally FRIDAY...thank goodness.  I had the longest week.  I'm looking forward to the weekend.  Have plans to make it to the car show here in Houston and maybe a movie w/ hubby on Sunday.  Truth is....I could just stay home and do NOTHING, and that would be fine too.  I could use the "down/quiet" time.

My cat is off to the vet this morning for his yearly shave & he was not happy.  I'm looking forward to bringing him home today at 5pm.  (Good news is I get to leave work at 4pm, to go pick him up)

Today's Mission:

Goals:
Take my vitamins (in progress)
Stick to meal plan
Exercise (done)
Drink 4 bottles of water
Post on OH
Purchase membership to NAWLS
OA meeting

My Meal Plan:
B: Protein Shake
L: Turkey, Cream Cheese, Egg White & Pork skins
S: Turkey/Cheese Lettuce Wraps & 9 almonds
D: ?????
S: Protein Shake (only if needed)

TGIF!!
Lisa

Morning all!  I'm dragging this morning, but made a plan anyway to help me through the day.

Protein coffee
Fiber plus bar
Egg beaters w/ ham, veggies & cheese
Tortilla soup w/ beef
Salisbury Steak w/ mushroom gravy & mashed cauliflower
Lunch meat & cheese roll up

It's not quite enough numbers wise, but I'm betting I'll find a couple of other things to add in to get me up to what I need today.

Going to push fluids as much as possible today, hot tea and decaf coffee for sure, as I think I haven't been getting in as much as I should the past few days.

I do also wish sometimes I could eat some things that I used to, but it seems like every time I try they just taste gross.  Luckily I feel like I'm adapting and my cravings and desires are changing.  I like more of the things that are healthy than I ever did before, and even when I have snacks around that I used to like I don't always want them.

I have actually been doing quite well with everything.  I might have missed it but have we decided on a name for February?  I know what mine personal name for the month will be... "40 and Fabulous February"

People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown

Miss Faith...you missed the Feb. name a week or so ago.  In honor of you being a mardi gras queen it will be "Faithful February"

We want to see LOTS of pictures!
