The NIGH****CHMAN - Thursday 1/28
Mary had Alex and Eryn today for a little while. I had to bring them back home on my way to the dentist. Alex is so funny. They were talking about my hair. Eryn says "I like your hair Grandpa". Alex says "Do you want a Grandpa or a Grandpa Lady?" Kids.
At work now. Wrote two people up for attendance problems. Got to send a message.
Guess I will go back to work.
Pray for Jenn R. and Eric. Please.
Just so you know, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS & SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.
If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested). Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

I had a nice visit with my friend today at work when she dropped by. I asked her about the tumor that had wrapped it's little fingers around her spinal column in her neck. This had affected her hearing and vision. The radiation had shrunk it enough that the doctors are not concerned about it any more and the chest xray they did showed the latest shadows to be scarring from the radiation....she will still have to have scans every 5-6 months, but right now she is just dealing with weakness and neuropathy. Does this mean she's cancer-free, I don't know. It sure was good to see her out and about though!
Well, I, for one, care that you got your teefies back and all fits well!
Left knee has GOT to have more liquid on it. I can always tell when the swell hell has kicked in as I literally am dragging my foot around! Seems like when it is "full", it's like pulling a brick around.
Took my dad to a military surplus store this morning. OMG he was like a kid in a candy store! Too funny. He spent over an hour in there. Mom and I were more than ready to leave within ten minutes of being in there but he had a great time looking at a bunch of stuff he'd love to have (and of course explaining to us why he'd like it!). With all he does for us, I couldn't care if he talked for hours - he deserves some good "dad" time in whatever store he wants!!! This afternoon he was in the garage and decided that the area under our stairs was horribly constructed as far as insulation goes. There wasn't any! You could literally see the tucked in CARPET which of course explains why that stairwell is always either hot or cold! I also have known for a long time that when someone leaves the coat closet door opened and it is cold outside, I always felt like there was cool air coming from there. Well, I was right. There was NO insulation in that area at all, just the sheetrock! Sooo, we went to Lowe's and got some insulation as well as some other kind of rolled stuff that he put on TOP of the insulation and got all that installed this afternoon so I'm sure that will not be near as cold now.
Guess I need to go make sure all the kiddos are in bed!!!
That insulation will help your electric/gas bill, but to me you never really notice it. It will go down about $10 or so probably. Hey, every little bit helps.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
