Food Log - Wednesday Night

Today was a decent eating day...lunch plans got cancelled due to being on jury.  We were deliberating and they made us eat lunch at a restaurant.  I did eat blackened fish, so decent choice!

Calories: 1500   Protein: 110 grams    took all vits/supplements
rode bike for 30 minutes this morning.

Food:
protein coffee
Atkins Shake
Blackened catfish with 1/4 c mashed potatoes and few bites of okra
trail mix
chicken cordon bleu casserole

Day was so so... ate too much popcorn today at work...stress eating!!!  Crappy day at work...did nothing but put out fires all day!!!

I'm tired of thinking about food, tired of planning, tired of counting calories.... just tired of it all!!!!  Yes I am in a whiny crappy mood tonight... need to just go to bed so I can start over tomorrow.

girl,  that feeling happens to all of us and I think my first time was about 18 months out.   Course I am feeling that again now.  Tired of all the planning and preparing.

Crappy work days don't help.  Sure hope you get good rest and tomorrow is better.

Paige, I get there too.  I'm actually there now.  My suggestion is make the best choices for a few days and not let it control you.  Sometimes it becomes overwhelming, I believe many of us have had that feeling, probably more than one time.

I'm doing okay and I am eating what I planned.  Lots of the beef and bean 'soup'.  Worked over time and just have spent lots of time with errands. just now sitting down to have some soup.

hope I see good results again tomorrow.

Wow, the big group we started with has dwindled down to the same few of us.  Oh well, that's why we'll always be here for each other cuz maybe no one else will be.

I didn't "log" my food tonight cuz I have no idea how much a "100 gm" portion of chicken tenders is.  I made a crappy choice for lunch today and know that it was way too many calories but darn it was good.

Breakfast: Western bagel with peanut butter
Lunch: 4 chicken tenders from Chicken Express, 1/4 cup cream gravy and a roll.
Dinner: 4 oz ribeye steak, 1 cup coleslaw with 2 T LF dressing-YES, I measured it.
Snacks: SF Chocolate Mousse (60 calories), about 200 calories of OTHER "not so good for you" candy.

Hi Ladies,

I can definitely relate.... our way of life sure can seem like a chore.  I'm glad you posted about it, Paige.  After all, that's what this on-line community is for: SUPPORT.  

When I feel that way I force myself to think back to before I had my WLS and how I used to make all sorts of promises to my higher power, if he would just help me get my approval.  Well, I got my approval so now it's my turn to live up to my end of the deal.  So.....I'll keep planning, keep logging, keep posting.  

Food was good for me today.  Stuck to my meal plan.  Working on my last bottle of water.  Took my vitamins and spent 45 minutes on the treadmill this morning.

Looking forward to a good night sleep.
