Thursday WLS Express
Good morning. It's been a long, tiring week for me with jury duty. Thank heavens it's over! I will work 1/2 day today and take off 1/2 day so I can go finish my homebound student for the week. The jury duty lasted so late each day I couldn't get in but 1 hr. with her so I have 4 hrs. more to do today. I decided I wasn't going after work. I'm getting tired of it because it's almost always a hassle. She's either sick and we have to cancel or reschedule or this week it was the jury duty getting in the way! Hopefully I'll be home by 5:00 at the latest.
Prayers for Eric, Meggie, Doug and all others who need them as they heal or go through medical procedures. Prayers for their caretakers too!
Have a great Thursday. Thank heavens the weekend will be here soon.

Good Morning Alissa and the rest of my TMB Family,
Happy Thursday! I would have been here earlier to get us started but Eric decided he wanted to be a pain this morning and not follow any of the rules. Hate it when he like this cause it starts both our days off rocky. He is better now. Guess he medicine is kicking in. He did come home with his report card yesterday and he had 4A's and 2B's. Cant complaine there. He seems to have transitioned into the new school without to much problems. He still tells me everyday how he misses his two best friends from Texas. Keep hoping he will find a new best friend here but that has not happened yet! Guess time heals all wounds. Not much going on for me today. Need to vaccum and do dishes, but it hurts really bad to stand for to long or to bend over...needs to be done though. Mark will be home Sunday, and if I clean today then all I have to do is pick up on Sunday am. I am not looking forward to the snow coming our way on Saturday! Cant wait to go down to Florida next month and spend some time with my Mom and Dad and in the warmth. My Mom already has our walks all mapped out for us. She is amazeing...walks 3 miles every day and goes to exercise class three times a week at the club house. She wont do it when they go back up north but down in Florida she is totally motivated. Ok..prayers this morning for all spoken and unspoken requests, and special prayers for Viv and her family (will email you later) Jenny and Eric, and Ken and Meggie. Have a blessed day. Love you guys.
I'm staying home today, I'm sure it allergies my throat hurts and I'm coughing really bad so bad my chest hurts too. I've got meds but think maybe a trip to Urgent Care for a steriod/decongestant shot would be best. I'll see how it goes with the meds in the next hour then decide. I do see a nap in my future today.
Prayers going up for Jenny and Eric, Meggie, Doug and Kathy, Gina, Mari, Debra. Everyone ill or looking for jobs.
Have a great day!
Hugs,

I'm in my office and not on the road like a crazy person traveling from campus to campus. I am wearing my sweater dress with the leggings underneath today. I bought a black turtleneck to go under it too. I am ready for the cold. Unfortunately District policy says "no leggings", but I figure I am more covered up than if I wore tights or bare legs. I will wait and see if I get called on the carpet. I'm such a renegade! I can see it now...
"In a bizarre series of events, a Texas woman was arrested by the district policy police today. Sources say she was covered in clothing from head to toe. Leggings are to blame for the incident. More to come at 9, Bob"
I am meeting up with Chase and Bailey this afternoon and we are going to the Stock Show to see and pick up the other girls. I'm hoping that the cold will hold off till we get home. Afterwards I think the kids and I might have to do a snow dance in the pasture. I don't know of anyone with an indian headdress but I bet a few feathers and my wild indians might make a good statement!
Gotta test about 10 kids and get some progress reports done pronto!
Love you guys!

Had a good day yesterday. I had two meetings with the new boss and I think allot of my pressure is going to be released. I hope so anyway. This is a good thing.
An old high school and college boy friend of mine has connected with me on FB. He could not believe that was me in my pic. He said wow that can't be you. You look better now than you ever did and not fair I look younger than he does...lol...that made my day.
Prayers for all who need them. We have to smile and hold our heads high and think positive about ourselves and our lives. We are the ones that have control of our lives so we are the only ones that can make good things happen. Only us and the good Lord above.
Good morning train riders. Today is my last day of freedom before I have to work my 3 12's. I'm planning to start on my taxes today. I don't have all the info to complete them but at least I can get started. We usually get a big refund so I'm hoping this year is the same.
Slept in late (9:00) and my poor Percy had a BIG accident in his crate. Nothing like waking up to the smell of dog poop in the morning. He's used to going outside no later than 7 so it wasn't his fault. So glad Liz told me about Odoban from Sam's-it's like Febreeze and I just bought some last week. It did the trick.
Praying Doug, Eric, Meggie and Gina all feel better each and every day. Special prayers for Gina L as she has to attend a very sad funeral today.

RNY revision from lapband 7/30/07...TT/BL 10/9/08 and at GOAL
gonna see if anyone still reads this thing at almost 11am.
Had a very trying evening last night. Worked some overtime since I definitely need the money. EX lied and said that the court had not yet signed off on his child support change so he coudln't send money. Got a letter when I got home, that they had signed it on the 19th! He better come through or his happy arse goes to jail!
Got my $237 NBU bill. THAT was not expected. Will have to work on getting at least the electric part of it reduced in the coming months. The sewer, water and garbage were at the minimum. Just costs a lot to exist with water and electric!
Maddie decided to explore for 30 minutes last night from 3 to 3:30am. Normally it's 3 minutes in and out. Not this time. Ended up driving around in my jammies and coat, frantic and pissed at the same time. She was snooping around by the deer. STUPID girl.
Guess the most important and scary thing is the call from my Dad last night. He said my SIL has a possible brain tumor! She has always had what she thought were terrible migraines but it has gotten progressively worse. We also figured she was just bipolar the majority of the women in her family, but she has had some horrible 'episodes' since Sunday, with ranting, and screaming pain, and losing the ability to speak and write and stroke like symptoms...but no stroke. She was at the chalkboard at work, saying one thing and completely writing another. Yesterday, she was home and her ranting and incoherence and pain got so bad, my brother was afraid she would just kill herself to stop the pain. So she had an emergency CAT scan and MRI. CAT scan showed nothing but no news on the MRI. My brother called her parents and had them come down and that's when her mother told them that brain tumors run in the family and it could very well be the issue.
So now we are in a holding pattern until some results come in. So I am asking for prayers for her and my brother. Her name is Pattye.
Break is over and work is overWHELMING. But it's work and makes the day go by.
Love you all and I'm very thankful for this board - even if they don't do what I say! lol
