Fort Worth Support Group on Jan 30: Breakfast followed by Walk/Run
It's time for another Fort Worth Support Group meeting this Saturday January 30
After getting input from others we plan to switch it up this week by having breakfast/peep time first then going to get sweaty with our walk/run. We hope by reversing it that we will have more participation in the walk as it should be warmer outside then.
We will first be meeting at The Rise & Shine Cafe at 9:30. It is located on Alta Mesa about 1 block west of the intersection of McCart and Altamesa on the north side of the street.
The meeting is open to all, so come on in for some support and peep time.
When: Saturday, Jan 16th, 2010
9:30am till 11:15ish breakfest and Peep Time at Rise & Shine Café
Then from 11:30ish to 12:45-1:00 we will be working off those calories with a nice brisk walk/run at Foster's park

Driving Directions: Exit I-20 at McCart. Go south and turn right at the intersection of Altamesa and McCart. Go about 1 block and the café will be on your right.

Turn right onto Trail Lake Dr. Continue north on Trail Lake Dr, turn left on South Dr. Foster Park is the first parking lot on the right. Meet around 11:25am. Start promptly at 11:30 am. Walk/run 35 min. (or 2 miles, whichever comes first), turn around, repeat. We will finish by 1:00 pm)
I have 3, 4, and 5 mile coarses mapped so come out and get that body movin.
