I have a horrible cold and cough. What are some safe allergy meds. I can take?  I asked the dr. today during my visit but honestly I can't remember what he told me now.

If its a cold, Tylenol makes a liquid cold medication. If its allergies I take Zyrtec D everyday, Nasonex, and if my head is really stopped up, I will take a Allavert because the name brand, not the generic, over the counter, dissolves in your mouth so I find it works quickly.

My PCP recommends Alavert, as it dissolves on your tongue.
