Super Saturday WLS Express
Good Morning My WLS Family,
Happy Super Saturday! My day will be super because I get to spend it with my favorite (actually only one) grandson. Tim and Jon will be here sometime this morning. I took Mark over to the base to meet the group of guys he is going to school with at 3:30 this morning. Needless to say once I was up there was no going back to sleep. Will try and get a cat nap in before the kids get here. Mark will be gone a week. I am not going to complain cause he could be gone a lot longer. Actually this wil be kind of a nice break. No real cooking, lots of salads. Good way to take a couple of pounds off I hope. I have been using the lanacane patch on my back and it seems to be working well. Woops sounds like Eric is awake. He is going to want to some breakfast. Guess I better go. Prayers this morning for Jenny and Eric and our Meggie. Is she coming home today? Prayers also for all the others in need, especially those that are in Hattii and the families here that have family there. Have a blessed day. Love you guys.
Good morning. I'm so glad it's the weekend and I get to stay home today. I need a day at home. I will clean house, do laundry and then work on a quilt for Ben using his Livingston Lion shirts from hs and athletics in hs. I got them all cut out to 12" squares last night. Now I just have to figure out how to put them on the fabric I bought...a whole bolt of hunter green cotton.
Today is my 4 year surgiversary. I am so happy to be -134 lbs. from surgery wt. I have put back on 20+ lbs, but am working on taking it off. Since I went back to exercising this week I have taken off 2 lbs, so that's incentive. I also have more energy than before.
Prayers for all who need them.
Have a great Saturday!

Wow the train is EMPTY. I guess the big changes OH made by allowing sharing with FB, twitter, etc really did chase everyone away. Well, I'm here and I ain't going nowhere. I'm proud of my surgery and the support this site offers to new and old members alike.
I've already been to Wylie to pick up a dining room table and chairs for Hailey. Why is it men refuse to follow directions? I had the GPS turned on but he didn't believe it so he went his own way. We drove around for 30 minutes LOOKING for the right street until I insisted he return to where he went wrong and follow the GPS. Ain't it amazing, the darn thing took us right to this guys house. Plus Clay kept calling the guy and got no answer-turns out he dialed the wrong number and kept hitting redial!! Needless to say, it's already been a trying morning!
I've been asked to write my "story" for Dr Barker's website so I have to work on that today. They're going to do a feature story on me including before and after pics. Other than that, no big plans for today. Hope everyone has a super fun weekend.

RNY revision from lapband 7/30/07...TT/BL 10/9/08 and at GOAL
I've been in a class all week for work, I don't know how people can handle the morning commute. The drive to Arlington everyday from Wylie was awful.
I'm feeling kind of lazy today and wished that I didn't have to work at 330.
Its a good thing the washer runs by itself, I have lots of laundry to get done before my big day on Tuesday.
Everyone have a great day

I worked an accesibility fair at the FW downtown library from 9:30-3pm. Not alot of traffic so it was boring but it was a quiet way to earn comp time. And I did get to talk to people that did come more in depth. Everyone got their name in Braille-my coworker Jennifer did that. Adults like it more than kids! The kids like the candy I brought. I managed to give away the leftover Halloween candy and the Christmas candy. Don't worry-I tried both and it was still good. After all when do you think they make that stuff- not right at the holiday I tell ya.
Prayers for Eric, Jenny, Meggie, Ken and for Vivian's family situation.
