Hello all waiting to go to Haiti

Been busy havent posted much lately, my company is sending Nurses to Haiti we were supposed to leave this weekend but got an email last night that the past 24 hours about communicable disease and lack of security they are  holding off on sending us, they will give us 48 hours notice when we will leave. Just keep us all in your prayers and safe while we are there taking care of all that need us.

I am with Angel too have been on the Disaster response Team for over a year now , doing all the disasters Hurricane, Chemical fires, BCFS, have been up in austin for them since August. But now the latest is may be sending volenteers

My best friend's father was there on missionary work when the earthquake hit. He's retired Secret Service and I'm sure snapped back into his duty mindset when he realized the breadth of the situation. He was able to get to the Bahamas on a flight yesterday to begin a long journey home.

Stay safe while you're there and be sure to pack 1.5-2xs all the nutrients (protein powders) and vitamins you expect to need in case you don't get back when you expect to.

I have been on standby for one week already! Good Luck getting in! Bring antibiotics! Seriously they have no supplies down there. I hate how no one is talking about Haiti anymore on the news!
