Thanks Paige and Stephanie!

Stephanie it is another one of my creations....needs some tweaking.  Only ended up with 13g P and it needs more flavor.  So I will double the Italian Turkey Sausage next time.  Other than that it has spring veggies, tomatoes, tomato soup, and cheese etc (trying to remember it all.  These just sort of come to me and yes I am writing them down.....have my big support group meeting tomorrow but then should have time to get to start that. (when hubby comes home).

My sister in law just came over and she will be taking kiddos to school in the am.  But she brought a bag of cheetos and some hershey chocolate.....and said the other day I noticed you were out of chips so I bought you some Cheetos Puffs which I have a BIG weakness for.  I said Thank You but you can take them home with you tomorrow.  We are not having those in the house anymore.  So we had to have the talk that we had not had yet.  Small doses I have not laid down the law wiht her yet as I need her in the am so I can go to work for a meeting and she gets mad easily.  But have started the we are making healthy choices as a family and working on portion sizes.

So kids have asked for smoothies again.  So right before I leave I will put in their three mini quiches a piece and make their smoothie so it will be ready when they get up. Their lunches are packed and I put together dinner as she will be feeding them.

So I had to pack my breakfast, lunch and dinner as  I  will leave at 630 and not be home until around 9 pm or so LONG day!!!! Work with staff meeting, girls scouts and support group where I am opening up like I did here the other day......so we shall see how it goes.

I did get my last protein shake in and am working on the last od my water.  Wish I could balance on the scale to know for sure how much.  I have lost and am closer to my lowest but my skinnest pants woudl not fit this am and that was with the scuba suit!!  So not there yet but I am on my way!!!

Ya'll don't even want to know what kind of junk I ate today - I can barely comprehend it myself.

I think the healthiest thing I put in my mouth all day was a cheese stick.  And even that had a triscuit on either side.

But I did go to the gym for the second night in a row ... LOL

I did better today than yesterday, but I still feel a little "off".

B: 2 string cheese
S: wheat crackers and cheese
L shrimp won ton soup
S: crackers and cheese
S: protein bar
D: 2.5 oz. bacon wrapped filet mignon, 1 oz. broccoli with cheddar, 1 oz. rice pilaf.

Tomorrow is going to be a crazy packed day. I need to figure out what to take for lunch since I'll have about 7 minutes between noon and 5pm to eat. It's probably going to be shrimp won ton soup again. I'm totally craving shrimp shumai. I need to find a good dim sum place by my office.

Man...it sure is easy to go over your plan when you start ad-libbing! I skipped the cottage cheese I usually have for breakfast thinking I'd lower my carbs a bit. Things started getting off track when I spied the half avocado in the fridge. It didn't look like it was going to last the afternoon and it would go SO good with the Southwest chicken with cream cheese! Bad thing is the chicken dish alone has 28 carbs and the little green fruit added another 11. So much for skipping the protein packed cottage cheese! I blame my Mother for the fruit! The blackberries were getting a little wilty, still too good to throw away and I could hear my Mom telling me to eat them now before they went south. They looked so lonesome in that cheesecake yogurt so I invited a few of their strawberry friends to join them.

B.....hot chai tea....
L....Southwest chicken, 1/2 avocado
D....3oz Tilapia and grilled zuccini
LNS......Fage cheesecake yogurt with strawberries and blackberries

So my day didn't end up all THAT bad but the numbers definitely weren't what I planned. But that's OK! My fiber and protein was great. It was all good! I'm even going to have my night time chai tea and plan my broth and popcycles for tomorrow!  LOL!

Wait a minute!!!  This was a great day!!!  Carbs in general are NOT bad.  Where we get into trouble is with the simple carbs or the those with a high glycemic index that cause blood sugar to spke, create hunger signals and set us up in a crazy feeding frenzy loop that we can't get out of.  Choosing avocado with lots of healthy omega oils and berries with lots of fiber are excellent choices.  The oils and fiber satisfy hunger, they take onger to digest so there is no blood sigar spike and they keep you satisfied longer.  You had good amount of protein and your calories sure weren't overwhelming.  I say congratulations on making some healthy choices!!

I did the best with what I had, and I'm actually pretty proud of myself. LOL. I didn't actually eat the pita part of the fajita pita, so my carbs will be lower...but I didn't know how to deduct those numbers... And I actually only at 2 tbsp of spanish rice, so I over estimated just in case because I don't know exactly how it was prepared. It was yummy though!
Chicken or turkey with barbecue sauce (mixture), skin not ea... 344 10.0 13.5 46.7
Spanish rice 49 0.8 9.5 1.1
Oh Yeah Peanut Butter Protein Bar 210 13.0 8.0 14.0
Jack in the Box Chicken Fajita Pita 244 7.5 26.2 17.2
