Wednesday eating ....how'd you do?
Things are going well, with our new get healthy plan. Though I did stip last night and get the kids fast food (grilled ck and fruit) becuase we do nto get home unitl 8 on Tuesday nights nad normally dh will cook.
Still getting everything ready at night. Em seems to be adjusting though Barrett who does not really eat his lunch due to his meds says "mom you did not pack a dessert" I said well you had grapes and graham crackers you choose" He said oh ok I would have eaten those if I had known that (he wouldn't he takes the same lunch all week and does not eat it LOL)
Starting them out everyday with a smoothie with one scoop of powder split between them, yogurt and frozen fruit and breakfast has not been a fight for a change wow! Today I did give them a piece of toast.
As for me today I have had:
B protein drink with greek yogurt and much less fruit then them and 2 scoops powder LOL
S grapes
L Italian Bake and SF jello
s protein bar
D will have one piece of fish
and have one more protein drink to get in after that.
100oz of fluid so far! yeah me! LOL

Here's my totals for the day...remember I'm way fatter so I can have more calories so some of you skinny minny's don't freak out!
1416 calories 137 protein 110 oz. liquids
took all vits/supplements as usual
What I ate (or will eat)
protein coffee
Atkins shake
decaf coffee w/ 1 scoop zerocarb Isopure creamy vanilla
low carb chicken salad on a bed of mixed spring greens and 6 triscuits
1 oz. almonds
stir fried beef with fresh veggies: mushrooms, carrots, snow peas, onion and fresh spinach
skinny cow ice cream sandwich
sf pudding cup
and...I rode my bike for 30 minutes this morning!

My doctor visit was good bad and ugly. Good was that apparently my scale at home is still 3 to 4 pounds heavier than the doctors. I'll take it.
The bad was that she was evaluating my height vs. weight and had the balls to ask my why I couldn't get to 120 and if I was trying. Now, granted she is flighty and I hadn't seen her in a year and she also had the same surgery. But good LORD!
So I set her straight with - I obsess over my weight, I track my food daily, I HATE myself for any misstep, and after 41 years of dieting, I want to LIVE, damnit!
THEN, I pulled off my dress, opened up my Lipo in a box, and let it all hang out. Her jaw dropped and then she said, "oh, THERE is the extra 25 pounds!".. UHHH yeah!
So then we were best buds again and she spent a good hour with me going over my iron options and energy issues. She told me to keep up with the Geritol for the iron, stay on poop helpers like she does. She also told me to continue with the 3 month BC meds but to skip the 'period' week for two times and that will help with the anemia and iron issues. Then she also suggested PHENTERMINE! I said NO way! So she said take Clariton D for energy and appetite suppression.. go figure..she warned I wouldn't sleep on 240 mg. I said I would consider a smaller dose if I had to.
So I go back in 6 months and I will NOT obsess over the scale. I promise. HOld me to it!

I did pretty well today. Calories are 862 as of now and protein is 66 gm but I plan to add protein ice cream for my snack later (actually it's one of my frozen protein drinks but at night it's called ice cream so I think of it as dessert, lol)
Totals for today will be: Calories 1070 Protein 96
Breakfast: Western Alternative Bagel with peanut butter
Snack: blueberry mini muffin (darn that WM giving away free stuff!)
Lunch: 1 cup LF trash mix
Dinner: Grilled JUMBO shrimp, coleslaw with LF dressing
Snack: chocolate raspberry protein drink "ice cream"

What was your trigger? I had one of those days yesterday and hated myself for it. Worst part is that "stinking thinking" takes over and that makes me want to reach for the food even more. It's a vicious cycle.
Lucky for us we can start over and try again. Dust yourself off and give it another "go" .....

I had a good day. I stuck to my meal plan and that's HUGE for me. I'm focusing on today's positives. I took my vitamins and I'm one glass away from my water goal, too. I logged my food intake and my activity.
