The NIGH****CHMAN - Wednesday 1/20

I'm drugged and icing right now. I got through the workday with just 3 Motrin today, so it seems to be getting a little better. Either that or I was just so busy, I didn't notice it as much.

I DVR'd Human Target, too. Michael's doing a WoW raid with friends online, so I need to wait until he's around to watch it. That's why I went with WNTWs for tonight.

Forgot to mention.  Doctor said he does not think it is rotator cuff, but is not ruling it out.  Treating it as bursitus/tendonitis.  Cortisone shot.  He was going to give me Mobic, but I told him no can do.  NSAID.  So he said we will just use the cortisone.  Go back in four weeks.

I had the cortisone shot in my hip for bursitis. Hurt like the devil but was the best thing I could have done! I hope you get the same relief I did!

The shot didn't hurt at all.  The doc froze my shoulder with some spray of some kind and I didn't feel a thing.

Oh you are sooo lucky. I didn't have a problem until he had to wiggle the horse needle around to find the bursa sac and then pop it!! I thought I was going to be sick. And then I hurt for the rest of the day. One of those hurts where you just can't get comfortable and wind up in some wonky position and don't move for fear of never finding it again!! lol BUT after that I was groovy!! My hip had had me in tears daily so it was really worth it.

I don't expect a miracle cure.  But I really don't feel any relief at this time.  Give it a couple more days.  He told me if there was little or no relief, don't wait the four weeks.
