CRUISE Info-time to book

Cabin is R132 Ocean View

I called back this morning and was able to get the free time dining as well as the prepaid gratuity. The reservation online still shows the cabin as TBD but group booking online confirmed our cabin number.

I'm waiting to hear from my roomie.

Did you just have to pay the deposit today? Did you have to pay for the travel insurance today?

I just had to pay the deposit today but I went ahead and paid more cuz I could but it wasn't required.  It's $200 per person minimum when you book your room.

Deposit with travel insurance today . They can holdvyour card and auto charge on the final day

Steph thanks so much for this! My cousin has confirmed she is going with, but will be bunking with us.

I will let u know as soon as I book...anywhere from 2-14 days. LOL I filed my taxes...If I get it rapid, I will do it this weekend...if not, two weeks from today! I'm so excited! I can't wait!

Does anyone know where I need to start to get my passport? I know u said we don't need them but I'd like to have one just in case.

And one more question...maybe two... Is there a formal dinner night?
And...early or late meal times? What does that mean? We have to eat at set times? And how often?

You can go to any county courthouse or some post offices also have passport offices. You can go and apply, bring the neccessary documents, they'll take your picture and then in a few weeks you'll get your passport.
We chose the freestyle dining so we can eat anytime between 5:45-9pm.

 Alissa....if you have never gone on a Cruise before the only bad thing about the freestyle dining is they  can't guarantee that you will be dining in the formal dining room.    There is food everywhere you look on the ships so trust me...if you eat early in the formal dining room and then get hungry later...there is ALWAYS something that you can get to eat on the ship.    Also you can eat every meal in the formal dining room if you didn't know that.   When we went on a cruise almost 3 yrs ago we didn't find this out till the last couple of days of our cruise.    The food is the best in the formal dining room.   I am sure if you and Bryan want to change to a dining time they will let you change that.    I know we will all have a great time on the cruise.

 Kim there is usually one formal night when they have the captain's dinner.   You can dress up every night if you like and go to the formal dining room and eat or you can even eat every meal in the formal dining room if you like.   It is SO much fun !!!!   I can't wait to go.    There are different times to eat but trust me....there is food ALL OVER THE PLACE on those ships.    Usually pizza till midnight and after and a midnight buffett.    Prepare to gain a couple of pounds on the cruise.    I gained 5 last one I was on....and I worked out everyday while there also.    LOL

I'm getting my passport thru the post office.  In Rowlett they do it by appt only.  I was told CVS takes passport pictures very reasonably.  I HIGHLY recommend that everyone has a passport cuz if you miss getting back on the ship you can't fly home without one.
