Helping Others--
I REALLY want to help. If I don't make it to Ikea by 9:30 just give me whatever job nobody else wanted...that's what I deserve for being late. :-) I'll do my best to be threre though.

Can someone explain, in detail, exactly what is going on with this shopping fair? What it is? Who is in charge? What committees? Yada yada yada.
Without knowing my travel schedule right at the moment, I can't really volunteer but if it works out to where I can help out on 3/20 I will.
Are you looking for vendors for the shopping fair as well or is that all lined up?

Hi Jodie!
Karen is in charge. She has hosted several shopping fairs as benefits for friends and organizations in the past. She has well over 150 vendors that are lining up to participate in this fair (we put it on a weekend that is typically a quiet weekend for crafters, etc).
The idea behind the shopping fair is, vendors buy booths to sell their wares (like a craft fair), with those booth fees going to benefit my family. Since it's being hosted through my daughters preschool, there is no cost involved with rental space and/or tables and electricity. The vendors will also donate 1 prize valued at $50 to be given away with raffle tickets we plan on selling, also benefiting my family.
Hope that helps!

Jodie that is awesome that if you are available you will help. We will need all the help we can get that day. Also if you have vendors give them my email address. [email protected]. We will be sending vendors emails with all the details and the application for the bothe.
