new here, anybody live in san antonio

I"m having my surgery on feb 15 .just wanted to know if there's anyone from SA

 I am SURE there are others from SA.    In fact I know of several that live within a driving distance of SA but they don't post much generally just lurk.   You might check out the groups above in the blue area and look for a good OH support group in your area.    That would be a good way to meet others...also if you doctor has support groups.....PLEASE attend them.    They really keep you motivated especially when that "honeymoon stage" ( after one year mark ) is over.   Good luck to you...it is coming up quickly !!!

I am and had the same doctor you have he is WONDERFUL my sugery was 5/08 I have lost 134lbs so far . Dr Cavazos has support group meetings each month they are helpful if you can attend, I work in Austin so really do not make it back in town in time for meetings, and am about to go to Haiti, Do what he says and  you will have a good journey, the nurses ( not just saying this because I am a Nurse) at NE baptist are wonderful, that is where you are having yours correct?
