Can't resist snacks at the office? Blame your boss. According to researchers at Emory University, when alpha female monkeys ordered around less dominant pack members, the inferior animals ate significantly more (and gained more weight over a 2-month period than those in charge. The submisive monkeys had higher levels of cortisol, the stress hormone linked with dangerous belly fat. Here, ways to prevent stress eating at work:
1) Email yourself every time you eat. Include cir****tanes and note how you were feeling. Review the message every Friday and look for patterns... We can text each other...
2) Instead of turning to food, email a buddy and tell her how your're feeling. Wait for her response before you head to the kitchen. We can text each other.....
3)Sip. green or black tea before you reach for a snack. The drink contains theanine, an amino acid that increases levels of relaxing cemicals in the brain.......
