Good of you to "pop" by for a visit...try to make it a little more often. There are many who stop in every week to "report in." This thread really helps to heep me accountable for my actions and I hate to get on here on Monday to report that I have gained...but it happens! You're down for the week, this is a good thing. I am embarassed. I got ****y this week. I lost 4 lbs by Friday and knew this because I started back to weighing every day. Then I stopped weighing this weekend and pretty much ate too many snacks watching TV Saturday night and Sunday. Hence the results. I know you all will support me, so I will knock me down a notch.

I know today is Tuesday and I am a day late posting... I just hate getting on the hag lately. I have started back going to the gym and Trisha goes with me. We are trying to get ready for our cruise in April to the Bahamas. I have been stalling out lately and trying to jump start my weight loss again. Anybody have any suggestions?

It may not be so much of a stall but a slowdown...You are 6-7 months out and I know I started slowing down in January of last year. Now GRANTED look what I went through the first 6 months of 2009, so I do take that into account. It took me about 7 months to lose 20lbs. But it was a slow and steady loss. As time passes, you won't continue to lose the weight as rapidly as you did at first, so be prepared for that. But try more protein and good protein and change up your exercise program. That should do it if anything will.

I would have loved to have gone with the group in Sept. but just can't afford 2 trips in the same year. We already have our vacation booked for next year. I got a great deal on a 3 day 2 night cruise and 3 days 2 nights in Ft. Lauderdale at a resort, 3 days 2 nights in Orlando at a resort and then got 2 other 3 day 2 nights in Las Vegas, and Puerto Viarta MX. It is one of those you have to listen to their 90 minute pitch and then get up and leave. Hey, it is worth it to me to save money on a vacation. That is how we took our first cruise and saved $600 doing it.
I figured out that I can't eat brocolli. That is what causes my stomach to go into severe pain tantrums. That is what sent me to the ER last weekend, and then 3 days ago, I ate brocolli again, and OMG the pain again. So, no more brocolli for me and I love it too. Oh well, I don't like the pain though.
