Miraculous Monday WLS Express
Good Morning. I have before and after pics on my profile. I went from 337 to around 200 (was a little lower and making an effort to get back there) 4 years ago with RNY. I can do so much more now and got rid of Type II diabetes, high blood pressure, gout, high cholesterol and I'm probably forgetting something. Thank heavens for this surgery.
Ben got sick yesterday so will leave this morning for Aggieland. I am going to Houston with a friend and her daughter to buy fabric at a couple of warehouse fabric stores. Hope to be home by 5 or so to chill for a few hours before the workweek.
Prayers for all who need them: Mari on the jobfront, Eric and Meggie and all others who need them.
Have a great Monday!

Surfing from the new laptop this morning. Finaly got it reloaded yesterday, but it took all day.
I'm excited and ready for school tomorrow. I got several emails over the weekend from my academic coaches and teachers. School hasn't even started, but I have homework. No problem, though I am completely ready to go. I cleaned my study yesterday as software was loading on my laptop and bought school supplies on Saturday. Bring 'em on!!
I really enjoyed Becky's thread about preventing pitfalls last ight. What a great idea. I hope she'll do the recipe thread she hinted at. Sounds like a grat idea for a continueing thread/theme.
Have a great day! HUGS

morning everyone,
I am ready to head out the door and get to work. Attitude is Ehhh at best. Between the scale and work and some emotional stuff, just kind of a crappy feeling over all.
Going to try and make the best of it. Must get my eating in check and leave the freaking carbs alone and up the protein and water. Tired of the seesaw. I do have plenty of stuff prepared, so there is no excuse.
I have a doctor's appointment with my primary doctor on Wednesday morning and i haven't seen her in a year. She is the 'cash only' doctor and I just have to go so I can get my scripts updated. It's the strong stuff.. water pill and BC pills.. BUT I hate the scale, hate the scale, hate the scale and what it might show. I am thinking that I will be the same as l was last year when I was there, but it's just overwhelming to me sometimes. Always has been. Guess it's something to do with being put on the scale at WW at 7 years old. Yeah, I know.. get over it.
Life moves on whether I want it to or not, so I can get on the bandwagon or sit and mope. Time to get on and see what life has to off.. I know,, babble.. but I got to vent a bit.
OKAY - time to get out the door and make the best of the day.
Prayers for so many in need who are hurting in body, mind and spirit.

Good Morning
Today is the day - Back to work. I am excited and nervous at the same time. So many things have been changed - (Computer stuff) and I was already so green = but, I am so ready to get back into the swing of things - a paycheck and adult conversation, just being around people.
My story - Started at 350 - w/ every comorbity under the sun - had not worked in 7 years. Life was the pity and I was miserable. Now, at 160 working, feeling great enjoying life. Love doing things w/ grandkids and Life is so different. Thank you God for WLS and my WLS family.

Life is what you make of it! Enjoy when possible.
