Jumpstart January B2B Sunday

Let's get our Sunday rolling...I am eating more leniently this weekend.  I just felt like I needed it.  I actually probably didn't get any more calories in yesterday than any other day.  I think I ate less food.  I did eat some cookies Ben made.  This was not a good choice but was the first dessert I had in 2.5 weeks.

Plan for today:
lots of liquids
protein coffee already downed
McD sf vanilla iced coffee...last one in Livingston until May...they're knocking Micky d's down and rebuilding a newer bigger one!
lunch: may eat out after church

dinner: leftover steak w/ side

Mine is not the best plan today but I'm getting in my liquids and protein!

what's your plan?

Good morning girlfriend!!  I have absolutely no plan but I do have a protein drink defrosting for breakfast so that's a start.  I was pretty good yesterday but ended up eating a bunch of pistachio nuts before bed so I know the salt messed with my weight so I didn't weigh this morning.

Yesterday:
Breakfast: scrambled egg with one slice candaian bacon and cheese on toasted sandwich thin
Lunch:  leftover pot roast-2 oz meat, the rest carrots
Dinner: 1 cup spaghetti with meat sauce
Snacks: SF snack bar (100 calorie), pistachio nuts

Karla,

I was just about to post this and I got my coffee and sat down and there it was.

Hey, I am proud of you for your ticker.  That takes guts and accountability and no excuses.  I think it's just like logging our food. IF more of us would do that, I think we wouldn't be wondering why we aren't where we want to be.

Scale has been kind even though I was not kind to my body yesterday.  I decided that the last of the spaghetti needed to be eaten and then I needed to snack on sesame sticks and toffee peanuts.  But scale showed 157.4

Good morning!!!   I tell ya if I could figure out my scale or the secret to weight loss I would have so much money I would share it with all of you!!!!!  Erg..............  Okay so yesterday started off good.... and then just went down hill....it all started with some graham crackers and a can of frosting and ended with nachos at the hockey game.   Then I get on the scale this morning and I'm down a pound.    WTH????  It's things like this that just make me crazy!!!!!

Okay so my plan today is to make a few more freezer meals...  Although my mom does most of the cooking for my family I did plan out the week so she knows what to fix.  Now that I am at goal my major focus for this year is just having a healthy family!!!  My husband has lost almost 30lbs but could stand to lose another 50-60lbs.  When it comes to the kids it's not so much the food they eat as it is their activity level... they are technology zombies!!! The kids don't have weight issues yet.... but I can see it quickly becoming an issue as puberty is just around the corner!!!!

Today:
B: greek yogurt
S: Click
L: Taco Soup
S: SF apple cider
D: Cheeseburger Pie ( recipe from bariatric eating)
S: Believe

I am also going to either get on the treadmill or weather permitting go outside and walk 3 miles today.   I need to get back into some type of exercise routine since surgery...  right now I have only been cleared for walking so I can at least get started with that!!!

Yesterday ended up pretty good for me. I was within my calories and such but I need to shake things up to avoid a stall. Just like you've all mentioned....you have a day or so where you ate way off your plan or unexpected extra calories then lost several lbs the next day or so. When I vary my daily intake, stay within weekly limits instead of daily limits, I lose more consistantly and so far after almost a year after starting the insurance diet I haven't had a real stall yet. So, I'm going to stay varying my daily intake again, stay within 600-1000 calories a day as long as I don't go over 5600 for the week, it's always worked in the past before WLS. Besides, it's lots more fun than the same old numbers every day!

Todays eats.....

Pre-B...chai tea
B...cottage cheese
L....????? depends on where we end up today, taking protein snacks just in case.
D....casserole something???
LNS...chai tea

Hello all! Considering my weird schedule this weekend, I've done pretty well, food wise. I was up for over 24 hrs yesterday (worked 8pm-8am shift last night), then couldn't make myself relax this mrning, but did NOT turn to food-a HUGE WOOHOO.

Saturday was lots of coffee with protein. Mid afternnon was lunch at Saltgrass for my nephew's 18th bday. I had the hickory chicken and grilled veggies-took half home for my "midnight supper". Snacks were an assortment of 2 apples, some cheese and some almonds, over the course of the rest of the evening/night.

For today, so far..just some protein coffee, as I did finally take a nap. Richard is grilling me a "mess of meat" for tonight and for my lunches for the week, hopefully...if these cavemen around here don't grab it all first.

In a little while I will "baggie up" my daily vitamin ziplocks for the week...but for now...think I need some more coffee....

Ok, so I have either been so busy grocery shopping, cooking, planning for dh to be out of town all week that I have not been here sorry.

And today was not a good eating day....not bad but not good in the sense I did not eat.

I did have some salad and some grilled chicken breast for dinner and I will fix a protein shake ( and drink it before I get to bed tonight) at least my water intake is good.  Cooking makes me thirsty.

I have been up WAY too much on my foot today but at least Paige drove me around and helped me with the grocery runs this afternoon so I did to drive on my foot.

Going to go get the kids off to there jammy party ( so I can work tomorrow  ugh) and thne I will get my bag packed and ready for tomorrow.

When dh grilled the chicked I had him grill the turkey patties I got so tomorrow dinner is already ready.  Made up salad for a few days tonight so I just need to add the tomatos and that is done.  I roasted potatoes tonight so they can have the left overs tomorrow of that too.

I have extra grilled chicken so I will do something with that to make it look different on tuesday since they do not like leftovers LOL!

Got lots of good choices for the kids for breakfast and lunches I think.  So I think I am set for the week!!!  This feels good already (tired but good  LOL)
