Taco Bell

Ok. So I am not an advocate for the Taco Bell but I did hit the drive thru the other day thinking I was going to get bean bowl, but saw the ad for the Fresco Menu while waiting.  I opted for the Chicken  Taco.  It was a pretty good choice.  I am glad to see they are making improvements.  When I'm with my nieces or even friends at work going to lunch, these are choices I have to make all the time.

Thank you for providing this info.  It is important that proper information is out there.  You can actually eat fast food and still make healthy choices.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

You're right George.  Fast food is not off limits, we only have to educate ourselves and make the best choice from the menu.  It is when we go in blind and just pick a random item that we can choose poorly.

I posted the story of the new "posterchild" for Taco Bell's Fresco menu, on the main board last week .. This customer claims to have lost over 50 lbs. by eating only from the Fresco menu, sotra like "Jared" did with his fare at Subway ..  (now, Taco Bell specifically disclaims that their Fresco food is meant to be used in a "lose weight" program, don't forget  )

My pet peeve with burritos of late is that it seems everyone wants to stuff them with rice as cheap filler, really upping the carb content by doing so ..   Grrrr        If you ever go to Chipotle Grill, be sure and tell them early on HOLD THE RICE ..

Frank talk about the DS / "All I ever wanted to be was thin, like that Rolling Stones dude ... "

The problem is the AVERAGE-Non-WLS person can't eat just one serving and feel full.  I know my husband often gets 4-6 tacos.  The 92 gm taco= 3.2 oz of food.  I know that is not nearly enough for the average person to eat.  So I do applaud their efforts but I just wish they wouldn't present it as a healthy diet food.

Ugh that 89 cent burrito was gross. I much prefer the cheesy gortita crunch, and I seriously miss the black jack taco (it was low carb....only 4 net carbs per serving).
