RE: My mom and prayer request yesterday
I stirred up a HUGE hornets nest last night. They hadn't given her the ice chips back (they took them away when she started getting bad). My dad has asked about them since 1 pm yesterday and the nurses kept saying that they couldnt get a hold of the dr or pa. At 5pm the nurse came in and I asked, and got the same line they had said ALL.DAY.LONG. I was furious. I called the answering service at the office. I got a hold of the Dr. and he got a hold of a couple of nurses. And my mom - well she got her ice chips! I told her when I walked in that afternoon I wasn't leaving till she had ice chips. I was the coolest person there when I got the ice chips for her. But I finally got a hold of her little brain last night and told her that we weren't playing games with these nurses anymore and that if the nurse wouldn't help her, she was to call the answering service. And if she didnt want to be the bad person that she could call my dad, me or my husband and we would all three be down there before they knew what hit them.
Please keep praying for her. She was suppose to come home today and that isn't going to happen and I know she is disappointed about it. But she has to get better. Thank you everyone for praying. I appreciate your support and prayers more than you will ever know.
Anyone have a cute trick to get lower gas bubbles to move? She is having troubles with the lower gas bubbles. She is burping and those are coming up fine, but it is the other end she has issues with.

Bring her some Gas X trips for the lower gas bubbles. Be persist that they check your mom's lungs and even another leak test. The breathing issue can be pneumonia or even a leak, possibly a blood clot.
Who is her Dr.? I'd be calling this morning for more info and testing.
prayers going up now, what is her name?
