Good Morning OH Family!

I'm thankful this morning for being able to start up my old computer to feel "connected" again. Our hearts are heavy this morning our Boston Terrier Lexie passed away yesterday. I know I make cracks about her being Rick's dog etc but she was such a sweetie. She started having seizures around 4pm we rushed her to the vet and they gave her some meds which seemed to work for a few hours but than she started seizing again and could not stop even with IV meds so we made the decision to let her go.Rick was too emotional to go so I went and held her and let her know how much we loved her while they gave her the shot, she passed peacefully. OK......don't want to be a downer today. So........on a different note did I mention that our new grandbaby that is due in May is for sure going to be a boy? Either that or he has three legs. lol They are thinking of naming him Dylan Lyrick Schulenberg. The name Lyrick is both mine and Rick's name put together. They saw it in a baby naming book. Well think I will go ahead and start some laundry and try and go lay back down before I go to work tonight.

Your loved!

Lynnette - I'm sorry to hear about Lexie.  We lost one of our dogs (of 14 years) the day after Christmas and I'm still looking for her in her favorite places.

Congratulations on the grandson, though!   Now your Grandmother's Pampering System (GPS) has a more specific target in the toy/clothes department.  Have fun!

morning everyone,

I am thankful that it's Thursday because it's been a long week.

Today is going to be a ditto day I suppose.  The big boss is in San Diego so it's kinda nice to not have them hovering.  Work is picking up again now that our sales guys are back from vacation and they want everything done like yesterday.  BUT I heard from two of them that they just don't want to rely on anyone else to do work their projects, so that's nice to hear.  We will see if I keep them happy that way.. lol

I'm doing well with my eating I think.  And yes I've seen it too many times, so i'm adding protein to my coffee this morning. That will be another new habit I need to incorporate.  My new 'habits' are still going well - don't want to call them resolutions, since I have never followed through on any of those.

Folks are probably weirded out at work because I've been ditching the jeans and dressing up more. Today is a skirt I haven't worn since October 5, 2008 ( yeah, it was not a good day, so that's why I remember).  Found a cardigan I have never worn so i'm doing it.  I figure why have it if it's going to sit in the closet.

I guess it's all part of trying to have more SELF CONFIDENCE.  Course I think i'm also following the mantra that I believe
my aggie girl, Terry Ann claims which is Fake it till you Make it!  Maybe if I look and act confident, I will start to feel it.

Okay, old timers, I challenge more of you to post to the train. I know Steph was really wishing that we could get this train to 100 posts every day like we used to do.  Who's up for it.

Prayers for all in need in body, mind and spirit.  Prayers of praise for my friends' family who were spotted on the front page of the New York Times yesterday.  So at least he knows they are alive in Haiti.
