Susan I know you were talking to Michelle but that hit me straight in the heart - still haven't found a real church home here - the woman I thought would become close friends are just fellow moms and casual friends. Tim's gone and I have to go and do or my kids would be sitting at home all the time but sometimes it feels like that is why I am up and going anywhere LOL

hey girlie send me a pm or email and explain HOW the heck one finds a church that you love. I loved mine in Tx and just have not found one that we all mesh with yet here =- pretty much just going on base some

I'm thankful that it's Thursday and I'm waking up on the right side of the dirt!  It's easy to get mired down in what we don't have instead of being grateful for what we do have.  I'm guilty of that, I can tell you.  I tend to be pessimistic, and I'm working to get past that.  It's not easy tho.  The bad stuff is easier to believe!

Therese found a great hand made paper store in Dallas.  We are going to go Saturday.  She said it's a huge store.  If you're into scrapbooking at all, this is the store for you!! I don't know the address, but if you're interested, I'm sure I can get it!

Well, better get into the shower so I can get to work.  Sleeping pills are working better than ever.  I'm groggy this morning because I took it too late last night.  Probably need to take it earlier.

Y'all have a great day!  Love ya!

When you get the name, let me know.  Mary is always interested.  Her latest places to go are Anthologies in the HEB area and now she wants to check out Googlyeyes in Irving.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Good monring all !! I am thankful for my salvation and a loving Father who loves me, no matter how far I stray from the flock, on occasion...

My head still weighs 50 lbs, and is full of nobody-would-even-want-to-know-what-it-is, but I got some "good" prescription cough med yesterday, so at least I got some sleep last night-that ALWAYS makes me more pleasant to be around. My doctor was out sick (hmmm..guess doc ARE human, after all), but his nurse called in the med for me. I told her I needed something that did at least HALF the stuff NyQuil CLAIMS to do. I went ahead and make appt for Tuesday. I'll either be better or have a 100 lb head by then...

Work is it's usual circus...Our Social Worker made the remark yesterday "We have everything but the peanuts"--within the hour a Home Health salesman came by..and yes, there was a jar of peanuts in his token "sales basket". The poor man had no idea why Ally came running into my office, laughing hysterically, holding this little jar of peanuts...it was great...Our Director of Nurses (the one who hired me) put in her notice yesterday. Everyone "assumes" I'm going somewhere too. I just get a blank look and put on my best "Mona Lisa smile"...let 'em wonder. They don't know I have no plans to go/do anything.

CRAP...I AM rambling this morning...maybe still have good cough med in my system..have had to fix a bunch of typos...Better hit the shower and get to functioning a bit better...

Prayers all around, with special ones for ERIC and MEGGIE

Of course, y'all KNOW I'm THANKFUL for each of you...but that goes without saying, cuz, as you know....

I LOVE Y'ALL AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!

Good morning.  I'm dragging and really sleepy this morning.  I'm usually a morning person.  Hoping the protein coffee caffeine will kick in.  Lots of paperwork to do today and then 3 hours of homebound after work.  Yuck!

Prayers for all who need them.

I hope everyone gets to feeling better soon that is sick.

Have a great Thursday.

Good Morning Train!

WOOOHOOOO for Thankful Thursday!  I'm thankful that I can work from home when I need too!  Sorry I'm late this morning, but I needed to sleep in some, I guess... LOL

Prayers are going out to all that need them!

Chicago came to mind this morning so here's Saturday in the Park.

Saturday in the park
I think it was the Fourth of July
Saturday in the park
I think it was the Fourth of July
People dancing, people laughing
A man selling ice cream
Singing Italian songs
(fake Italian lyric)
Can you dig it (yes, I can)
And I've been waiting such a long time
For Saturday
Saturday in the park
You'd think it was the Fourth of July
Saturday in the park
You'd think it was the Fourth of July
People talking, really smiling
A man playing guitar
Singing for us all
Will you help him change the world
Can you dig it (yes, I can)
And I've been waiting such a long time
For today
Slow motion riders fly the colours of the day
A bronze man still can tell stories his own way
listen children all is not lost
all is not lost
Funny days in the park
Every day's the Fourth of July
Funny days in the park
Every day's the Fourth of July
People reaching, people touching
A real celebration
Waiting for us all
If we want it, really want it
Can you dig it (yes, I can)
And I've been waiting such a long time
For the day

Ya'll have a great day my friends!
