Jumpstart January B2B Wednesday
I'm down another lb. today for -6 lbs since last Tuesday. I'm feeling okay with that. I know it will be slow going from here on out. The "easy" part is probably gone, but my tool still works!
My plan for today:
lots of liquids (got in over 100 oz. yesterday)
protein coffee being downed now
Atkins shake
chicken breast and navy beans for lunch
Chicken gumbo for dinner
cottage cheese or sf low carb cheesecake for snack depending on how much protein I need
What's your plan?

I am happy to say that I mostly maintaining. With everything going on, I am surprised that I am not up five pounds. I think that I am only up about 1.5 pounds but that is because I have had way too much salt and not enough water to drink.
People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
Good morning! This nasty head cold thing I have going on is making it more difficult to get my fluids in-something I normally don't have a problem with. On a good note, I can't smell, so eating is not FUN, so I'm eating cuz I know HAVE to..eating to LIVE. not living to EAT...hmmm...maybe what they say is true....
Today's plan:
B: Protein coffee-working on it now
S: another protein coffee or protein hot tea
L: 3 bean soup
D: Lasagna guts
S: Baked apple/cottage cheese
Will work harder on my water. Vitamins are bagged and ready to go

We Can Do Hard Things
I am back to the lowest from lat week. You would think I would learn that one day screw up causes 4 days to get it back off. Oh well, it's done. No lookin back.
Plan for today is -
special k protein plus cereal with low carb yogurt
lunch is chicken breast and navy beans - just like Karla
snacks are string cheese and an atkins protein bar. Some of those are really num num
dinner is not in the plan yet- and that can be my problem. Will have to see how hungry I am.
This is hard, but we can do HARD things!

I did just do 30 min of high intensity work out! Wooohooo! I'm finding that it's mainly strength training rather than aerobic exercise, so after another week or so of doing the video only I'm going to add in either walking or the elliptical so I can get a more balanced work out.
Plan for the day:
Protein coffee
Egg beaters w/ salmon, ham & veggies
Turkey burger on rye & apple
Cottage cheese w/ something
Mozzarella stick
Fiber plus bar
BBQ chicken, steam fresh veggie mix, wild rice
Debbi
Plan today:
already been to gym at 5:15
B: Protein Shake
Protein Coffee
120 oz of water alone
L: Healthy Choice chicken soup
S; Cottage cheese/fresh strawberries
D: Lean Pork Tenderloin with veg.
My tool still works cause last night I ate two bites of a pork chop and UGH!!! is was stuck and had to come out! I hate that feeling. I am working it.

I KNOW it will get better and that new habits take time to develop, but I was really hoping to be down, not up. FRUSTRATION is huge right now, but I refuse to give into it. So, todays' plan is:
Breakfast: Protein coffee
Snack: Another protein coffee
Lunch: Salad from Chick-Fil-A (hubby asked me to lunch)
Snack: baby carrots and celery sticks with ranch dressing
Dinner: Not sure yet, but will be protein heavy with veggies and NO bread.
Snack (if needed) will be yet another protein shake or even better - a few glasses of H2O!
Tell us how we can help YOU. I am simply guessing but I'm betting that your family and church and everything else is coming first and it's just hard to focus on you. I really can never imagine a life that busy.
Frustration can be crippling and I sure wish I had an answer for you. Please tell us how we can help.
sending hugs!

Thanks hon. There's really nothing you can do - unless you can move in with me and stop me from snacking at night. I do good during the day, but at night the snack monster hits. I am TRYING to make good choices when I can't ignore it...but I don't always. And, I always have been and always will be addicted to salty snacks. I can forego the sweets MOST of the time but chips, crackers and cheese, peanut butter, etc are my downfall. I have cut back on the amount, but I'm still snacking and sabatoging myself and it's got me frustrated. I know by looking at the numbers on Fitday that I am taking in much less than I was previously, which really frustrates me because I should've lost weight instead of gained....
Anyway..... I will continue to log my food and I will continue to be accountable here. It will get better.
I just have to give myself time. I just have to say it SUX being 3 years out, hungry and the weight not dropping off like it used to....
I'm also a night time grazier it's been pretty bad but I vow to work hard to change WHAT I'm eating when I graze. I hadn't had an apple and peanut butter in ages and last night it tasted so good (plus I skipped the peanut butter cookies I made the boys).
Hugs Susan, you aren't alone sweetie.
