Salad w/ chicken breast cut up in it for lunch

Darn scale.  I know it is not my friend, no matter how often I visit.  I KNOW I shouldn't compare me to any of you.  But, gosh darn it!  I only want to lose 6 pounds and I can't even seem to keep off the .8 I lost last week.  Not even a whole stinking pound and I'm playing yo-yo with THAT.  Ok...deep breath...vent over.

Today I have no idea what I'm doing...I'll plan now...

B protein coffee
S 1egg omlette with cheese and 1 slice low cal whole wheat toast
L chicken salad
S protein cereal w/greek yogurt
D pinto beans with ground beef and onions
S hot chocolate (W/added protein if needed)

Gosh,

I am frustrated with the scale, but then I see what everyone else eats and I don't think i'm doing right.  Now, i'm like Tawnya comparing myself and everyone is different.  But it seems you guys eat much 'healthier' and if I ate that the weight would probably come off .  Scale is the same as yesterday - dernit.

I am just at a point where protein shakes just give me the creeps. I need real food.  I don't want to keep with the obsession of what is 'good' food and what is 'bad' food.  But yet, it continues.  Last night i was cooking up the remaining red potatoes from Sunday and wanted to have them ready for Emm's breakfast.  Course the bowl I picked to put them in was too small, so there were a few that needed to be EATEN.  Well damn, if I didn't obsess over those potatoes all night last night and figured 'well that's why the scale didn't move.'   How crazy is that.

I am logging my food and did get in 100g's of protein and about 1200 calories.  Might have to adjust as I go.

I am going back to my primary doctor next Wednesday. She is now cash only and the one that also had the surgery.  That means a weigh in, and that means I will obsess over what it will say.  Guess the good is that it keeps me more on track.  The bad is, I need to live for today and eat to be healthy, not for what the friggin scale will say next week.

Okay, my soap box blog is now over.  Let's make the best of this day.  This is HARD but we can do hard things!

Hello!
The last few days have been a blur...

Today my plan is to drink 100 oz at least and stay away from carbs.

I actually went to the gym and worked out. The last few days i would justify staying in due to freezing temps. But today was nice.

Yesterday was great, until I got home.  I came in late and ate dinner, then went for two oranges, then later ate a protein bar and then popcorn no fat of course.  UGH!!!  Darn stress eating!

Today is a new day and will be better:  I have already been to gym and have had about 50 oz of water alone.

Pure protein shake
protein bar
ikos small 0% fat yogurt
17 min saltine crackers and ff peanut butter
chicken cut up in salad for lunch
small pork chop and veg for dinner.
Probably won;t be any more room for anything else.  Trying to keep calories below 1200

Hope everyone has a super day!

I saw Sarah at the Pasadena support meeting last night. She informed me that the couple of 'small pouch' days were actually some stew meat that was stuck! I've never been stuck before, I though it only happened when you didn't chew well enough or ate too fast. But after she explained and described it all, it fit my symptoms perfectly! I know...I know....I'm quickly learning to listen to you!

Weigh in today was good, lost 1.6lbs again this week. That's slower than I'd like but I'll take it! I may not hit my vacation goal in June but as long as the numbers aremoving down I won't complain. Oh, speaking of numbers....the scale is just one set of number I watch. My body fat is down to 44.7%, down from 63%. And my BMI is down to 37.7%, down from 56%. I'm no longer MORBIDLY obese, just plain old Obese! The other numbers I watch is my measurements...I've lost right at 42' overall. All those numbers sort of make up for the piddlu 1.6lbs!  LOL!

I made some shrimp salad this morning that's pretty good. I used the mini processor to shop and it did a little too well, it's more like shrimp spread! I want to tweak it a little but I think it's gonna be a keeper.

Today is looking like this.....

B- Fage cheesecake
L - Shrimp spread/salad, 2 Wheat Thins flat bread crackers, 4 almonds
S - fresh blackberries
D - Taco Soup
LNS - chai tea

WW(pts)   Fat(g)   Carbs(g)   Fiber(g)   Prot(g)   KCals
15.0 16.68 73.48 15.1 100.15 774

The carbs a little high but those flat bread crackers were worth it for a change!
