Good morning my friend Michelle! How are you today? I see you're up-are you feeling better I hope? Did Eric finish his homework? Its hard to adjust to for sure, but I will say this- I was always so smart I finished my homework before I left school most everyday and that was fun for me BUT I didn't learn how to budget time at night for school work and that really came to bite me in the butt in college. So I'm hoping that Chris does have some homework and learns good study skills. Right now he's like me-he finishes it before the end of the day. But I have a feeling that this will change as he gets older.

This week has been crazy. I still have the congested head/cough and now sore throat from coughing. I still feel as though my head is full of fluff. Work has been one fire after another. I'm HOPING today is calmer. I have been having to leave early for PT the last 2 days. Today I don't have to go to physical torture-as I like to call it- so I can stay late if I need to. I fell asleep before the end of Biggest Loser so nooone tell me who went home!

Prayers continue for Meggie. Thanks Liz for going to check on her. Poor gal. Glad you made it back safely Liz. Jenny- will see you later today- hope Eric is having a good day today.

I'd better get moving. I'm neglecting my household chores because I'm crashing when I get home so I'd better go clean up some!

Take care everyone!

ALISSA-I feel your pain..with the head--not the foot--haven't had THAT one.....I got to wondering last night how my head is even staying on my shoulders, considering how heavy it is and how much coughing/sneezing/hacking/whining/*****ing I've done the past few days....My nose is pretty well rubbed off...I'm gonna look like one of those lil nasty kids at day care that everyone avoids (the ones with scabs on their noses and upper lips from rough tissues)..Nobody is gonna want to play with me at recess, and I can't even blame them....It ain't pretty....

Hope you feel better soon!

Good Morning My TMB Family,

Well finally a day almost at freezing.  They say its going to get into the 40's today.  Yahhh maybe I will even get out and walk this afternoon.  I am feeling so much better today, but now Mark has it and twice as bad as I did.  Poor guy.  He thinks its only because of sinus drainage and will be better by the weekend.  I sure hope so.  Finally got a doctors appt with the Pain Management doctor for Monday.  It's about an hour away but will be worth it.  I have a couple of prayer requests if you would.  My friend in Texas who is the realtor who sold my house and the same woman we bought our house from, has been diagnosed with Overien Cancer.  She is going to Baylor to see a OBGYN Oncologest.  She needs lots of prayers that God will heal her.  Also my Tim has a resume in at the base he used to be on in VA.  They have opening a position where he would be doing exactly what he was doing when he left the Marines an in the same office.  It would be so much better for him.  No long drives, and no more weekends.  We are praying that he will hear soon.  Nothing to much going on here.  Going to do a few of the things I have not felt like doing all week.  The one thing I do every single day to assure it is going to be a good day is pray.  I know God is good and he has answered so many of prayers over and over again.  Prayers this morning for Eric and Jenny and Meggie and Ken.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.

MICHELLE-what's your friend's first name? I'd like to add her to my prayer board. Glad you finally got your DR. appt-hang in there. Do try to get a bit today. Staying in the house really leads to MORE depression, etc. Trust me on this one.

Thanks Gina.  Her name is Kim and she is such a Godly woman.  She never even speaks the word cancer.  God blessed me with her friendship just six months after moving to Texas and we have been friends since!  I will try and get out today.  It's really hard sometimes!  Love you!

Good Morning Train!

WOOOHOOO for WEDNESDAY!  My WOOOHOOO is my beautiful new grand-daughter!  I'll be pulling over some new photos from snapfish to add to my album on here later...

Prayers are going out to all that need them!

How about some ELO this morning?  Yes?  Then Telephone Line it is!  Everybody get up and move!

Hello--how are you
Have you been alright, through all those lonely nights,
That's what I'd say, I'd tell you everything,
If you'd pick up that telephone.

Hey--how you feelin'
Are you still the same
Don't you realize the things we did were all for real not a dream,
I just can't believe
They've all faded out of view.

I look into the sky
(The love you need ain't gonna see you through.)
And I wonder why
(The little things are finally coming true.)

Telephone line, give me some time, I'm living in twilight
Telephone line, give me some time, I'm living in twilight

O.K. so no--one's answering,
Well can't you just let it ring a little longer
I'll just sit tight, through the shadows of the night
Let it ring for evermore.

Telephone line, give me some time, I'm living in twilight
Telephone line, give me some time, I'm living in twilight

Ya'll have a great day my friends!

Hey, did I mention that while I was at my mother's I tried to find a way/reason/excuse to get you to move to Arkansas?  She's in dire need of Hospice care and makes $94 a year too much money to qualify for it... sigh....  She did get meals-on-wheels started up, so at least someone is coming by once a day to check on her... my nephew's wife comes by too, but only when she gets around to it, so sometimes Mom is staying in bed until nearly noon for fear she'll get up and fall and have to lay there until someone eventually gets there.....  She's doing better since meals-on-wheels has started up, and the guy that came and took her application for Hospice Care said he was going to try and get an exception made in her case but she hasn't heard anything back from him yet....   geez, I've written a book...

Anyway, I'll get Becca pics posted asap!

KAREN-someone gave your mom incorrect info. Hospice is paid  for by MEDICARE and Medicare is FEDERAL-same across all states, and is not based on income. If she was trying to get something based on a state funded program (like whatever insurance, Medicaid, etc) Arkansas has, that would be different. But Medicare is NOT based on income. She just has to be "of age" and have a valid Medicare Part A number. Just wanted you to know!
