Hey guys,
posting from Meggie's hospital room here for a minute. Stopped to see her on my way home.
Mari you were right, she is a hurtin pup! Doing as well as can be expected considering all her poor lil body has been thru in the last year or so!!! She's got pretty good meds on board *if you have seen her facebook posts, they are funny, and yall need to quit referencing ME lol* but she still needs prayers and thought for healing and comfort as she is pretty miserable right now!!
She is so tiny in this big bed, hope this is her last surgery!!!!

That poor kiddo has really been through the mill and I hope that this small bowel resection has "fixed" everything! I know you aren't still there, but if you get by to see her...give her a BIG hug and a smooch from me!

As for us referencing you............well, if the shoe fits!!!!!!!!!! That's all I'm sayin'.

Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose. Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email. I'll answer it as soon as possible.

As of 11-10-13 I have had weight gain. Not happy about that.

Awe....Liz that makes me feel SO bad !!! I have yet to go see her this go round in the hospital. Too much going on in my life and home right now. I feel so bad about not going to see her but i know that she is hurting so it is better to wait till she is better. Prayers being said daily for our Meggie that this WILL be the last surgery and fix what has been bothering once and for all.

dont feel bad at all, She is really resting most of hte time - still on major pain meds and interim pills in the meantime. She is very miserable... and prolly wont even remember i was there. Poor thing.. this has been a horrible surgery and recoup for her.
