Good Morning Train!

WOOOOHOOO for Tuesday!  Yesterday was a whirlwind of fun at work and then the DH went to tutoring so I had some me time... it was nice... LOL

Prayers are going up for all that need them!

I found a song for my baby girl!  It's the Eagles' New Kid In Town....

There's talk on the street; it sounds so familiar
Great expectations, everybody's watching you
People you meet, they all seem to know you
Even your old friends treat you like you're something new

Johnny come lately, the new kid in town
Everybody loves you, so don't let them down

You look in her eyes; the music begins to play
Hopeless romantics, here we go again
But after awhile, you're lookin' the other way
It's those restless hearts that never mend

Johnny come lately, the new kid in town
Will she still love you when you're not around?
There's so many things you should have told her,
but night after night you're willing to hold her,
Just hold her, tears on your shoulder

There's talk on the street, it's there to
Remind you, that it doesn't really matter
which side you're on.
You're walking away and they're talking behind you
They will never forget you 'til somebody new comes along
Where you been lately? There's a new kid in town
Everybody loves him, don't they?
Now he's holding her, and you're still around
Oh, my, my
There's a new kid in town
Ooh, hoo
Everybody's talking 'bout the new kid in town
Ooh, hoo
Everybody's walking' like the new kid in town
There's a new kid in town
There's a new kid in town
I don't want to hear it
There's a new kid in town
I don't want to hear it
There's a new kid in town
There's a new kid in town
There's a new kid in town

Ya'll have a great day my friends!

Its Tuesday! Yesterday at work was just one crazy whirlwind. So much I needed to get done that didn't get done. Hopefully today I can play catch up.
Good news-my foot is FINALLY feeling better. Knock on wood and whatever else I can do to not jinx it. Even though I protest that PT is physical torture, I will say its helping. I went yesterday and I go again today. I'm just glad that I don't have pain all the time anymore.

Haven't seen an update on Meggie lately- anyone know anything?
Jenny-how is Eric feeling this week?
Danni-how is Rachel feeling now? I hope she's over the crud. How many classes are you taking in the spring semester?

One good thing I guess about having this cold/gunk is that I'm not hungry, so I should be losing weight. lol.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I went to see her Sunday and she looked soooo much better than she did the week before.  She will be in there for about another week.  She is only allowed ice chips right now, so that is frustrating, but she was in unusually good spirits considering the cir****tances.  She said it was the morphine.

Rach is feeling better as long as we use the neb a couple of times a day - fighint broncitus AGAIN she is on antibotics agian - next time I am going to ask for two differnt ones - Sarah reminded me yesterday that that was what we did when Briggy was little and so sick (the guys were deployed so we were co parenting all our kids together at the time - hence the WE LOL)

I am taking 2 classes every 9 weeks  - so each 18 weeks I have earned 12 hours of credit. new term starts next monday - than after that 9 weeks I will start taking 3 classes every 9 weeks - pushing hard to finish my degree before we get out of the army b/c reality is once we are out if one of us does not have a fairly good job we will both be in school AND working and trying to keep up with the kids LOL

You're right to take advantage of the school while you can.  Good for you!!  You've probably told me, but what is your major?  And what classes are you taking now?  Your semesters are like mine...sorta...mine are 5 week courses.  And I stack them like you so that at the end of the term I'll have 18 hours.  I'm also in a hurry, but not becuase of Arrmy, just becuase it's taken me 20+ years to get here.  lol  :)  Hang in there and shout out when you can't take it anymore.  I'll talk you down.

Good Morning Alissa and the rest of my TMB Family,

Well once again I woke up to a dusting of snow on the ground.  So far no cancellations at least not for our school.  You never know around here.  I am fighting a bug of some kind.  I cant afford to let it keep me down though. Throat is very sore.  Have not felt like doing anything but today I am going to make myself get up and do a few things.  I would have thought after not eating much yesterday I would hav lost a few pounds but noooooo I stayed the same.  I need to find some exercise that wont hurt my back and hips.  Has anyone seen Valarie Burtenelli's new book.  Its about maintaining her weight loss and how the weight loss has changed her.  She also has a CD of her workout.  I really like her.  Think I will find the book.  Sounds like something I could use.    I read her last book and really liked it.  Anyway....going to fold cloths and wash sheets and that is it..well maybe I will bake too we will see.  Prayers for all those in need, especially Jenny and Eric and Meggi and Ken.  Prayers also for those that are unspoken.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.

I read Val's new book.  Pretty good.  Take care and go easy on the hip and back.  You only have one each.  :)

Really not doing to much of anything when it comes to exercise cause I really hurt.  I feel guilty though.  Maybe once the weather gets warmer I can get out a little bit.  Waiting patiently to get into the pain management doctor.  Got any suggesgtions for exercises that I can do that would be really easy?
