Just need to vent.....

I love the bracelet words... Was it expensive... it would make a wonderful gift for someone I have in mind...  would you mind sharing where you got it

Hey Vicki the bracelet was about $50   http://www.etsy.com/shop/deliasthompson  I just clicked on it and she has her shop closed until feb.  but if you go to etsy.com and in the search box type silver stamped jewelry you will see all kinds of other things that you can have personalized.  I am so addicted to this site!!!!

I will come back and start a new thread with a picture of the bracelet...

Thank  you for sharing this.  What it brought up for  me was the "can't do" message.  Whether I told MYSELF I "can't do" because of my weight (like going snow skiing)or my Mom telling me I "can't do" because I wasn't thin enough.(Like going to the neighborhood swimming pool)  It just kicks my issues in big time to hear someone tell me I can't do because I was tooo large or tooo small!!!!  I remember the feel of the humiliation and embarrassement from those words.  Even when I could have "done" whatever it was I was told I couldn't!!!!  Thank goodness for therapy!!!  I can now embrace these negative messages, know where they came from and know that I can do whatever the **ll I want!!  Fat or not !! And I do.......Integrity????  You bet.

Thanks!!!!  Maybe that's it... it's the you "can't" participate that has me all in an uproar and seeing that #1 on the list was no Weight loss surgery... just made my blood boil and made me want to do it.  If they had asked me to do it in reality I might have said no I'm good.... but being excluded from it just made me want to do it all the  more!!!!!  Ya know???

By the time the Valentine celebrations come around the "contest" will be long forgotten, they will be  all be fat again, and YOU will still be skinny and beautiful, with INTEGRITY--and wearing a new bracelet...
