How many calories have you burned today?

I haven't burned any yet, but I printed the group fitness calendar and I'm headed for an indoor cycle class after dinner.  Heart rate monitor, water bottle and towel are sitting next to the front door ready to go.  No excuses!  I'm hoping for 500-600 calories.

What about you?

I know yoiu well enough that I can bet you played with the kids, walked someone to school, walked the dog....and so on.  You burned.  Stop beating yourself up.  You LIVE a healthy lifestyle.  Now...off to the gym for weights tomorrow.  And if you can't make it...lift rachel above your head while doing squats 100 times.  lol  I can hear her screaming with laughter now.  :)

According the the elliptical machine at the gym, I burned a little over 500 calories (can't remember exactly).  My goals are 60 minutes, 500 calories, 8000 strides.  When I hit all 3 of those, I can stop.

Fantastic goals!  I love it when you can measure goals.  Makes them so much more realistic.  Good for YOU!!

Most are ahead of me tonight, but the good news for me... I did do something - tried a Zumba class which kicked my butt and then did some upper arms.  Not sure of actual calorie burn but it was a full 45 minutes of jumping, dancing and running around a room.  Had to count for something :)

LOVE Zumba!!  Depending on your heart rate, there are ladies in my class that burn anywhere from 500-800.  Very fun way to shed some.

I worked out with my trainer tonight and logged 1034 on my heart rate monitor.  That woman is brutal...and I love it.
