Prayers for Jenny and Eric!

This is such an ungodly hour to be up! LOL. I'm only up from the alarm to take my pain meds... Hoping I recover from my tonsillectomy asap, go back to work on Weds and all I do is talk all day. That's my job. Yikes. LOL

My goal for today is all vits, a protein shake, some broth, and at least a total of 1000 calories. I haven't been eating that much and have been terrible on protein.

Good morning everyone!  How'd your weekend go?  Mine was pretty good.  Spent most of it knitting scarves for family!  My shoulder is hurting so I need to slow it down.  But I put heat on it and it's ok for a bit.

Back to work today for a full week.  Not sure I can handle that!  But next week we have another holiday.  MLK Day on Monday the 18th.  One thing about winter is there are lots of holidays.  Not so much in the spring and summer.

Speaking of work, guess I'd better go take a shower.  We had a neighbor go under our house and insulate our ho****er pipes, so maybe it'll be a warmer shower than I'm used to!

Y'all have a great day!  Love ya!

Good morning.  The weekend sure did fly by quickly.  I have lots of paperwork to do today to get ready for ARD meetings the next 2 days.  I have to teach ,my homebound after work for 3 hours, which I'm not thrilled about.  they cancelled on me last thurs. so I have to make it up Today and thurs. w/ an extra hour each day.  I won't get home until 6:45 or so.  Having 2 days worth of meetings Tues. and Wed. doesn't help.  It's really a  head game of having a super full week.  thank heavens next weekend is a 3 day one!

Prayers for Meggie.

Prayers for Jenny and Eric that both of them have the strength to carry on.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Karla

Good morning and welcome to a new week.  I had a great time out in the country this past weekend.  Very relaxing.  One more week before school starts back so this week I'm reading for pleasure in the evenings.  Started one book on Saturday and just about finished with that one, so I'm looking for the next one.  Or, I may just catch up on all of the magazines that piled up last semester.

Morning everyone,

In an effort to reactivate this board more and see if we get more oldtimers back, i'm going to do my best to post every morning.

It is indeed a manic Monday.  This weekend was very busy and I didn't get all done I had planned. But sometimes spontaneous events get in the way. Not sweating it.

This will be another very busy day at work. The bosses will be in San Diego for the week so that makes things a bit easier for me. I'm stepping out of my comfort zone a bit with some new opportunites and we will see if I get any positive response.  No details, but will keep you all in the 'know'.

Emm seems to have made a resolution to be on time and more prepared for school... which is so nice for me. She is taking the time to make herself an omelet every morning and pack her lunch the night before, so she doesn't fall into the 'unprepared' trap like her mom does.

Not much else going on in the world. Still have pictures to hang and the living room to set up in the new house. I really want to get all that done this week.  But I am loving our new HOME.

Prayers for all those hurting in body, mind or spirit.  My heart just aches for our Jenny and Eric. You remain in my constant prayers.  Also for our Meggie and Gina's Richard.
