Question for Patients of Dr. Alexander - T.V. Ad

Does anyone know who that couple of patients - "Karen" and "Chris" - are that are on Dr. A.'s current T.V. commercial (are they TMBers, per chance)?

I was wondering about something rather enigmatic that "Karen" says in the ad about both of them: "we almost lost our health and our families . " What in the world does that part about their families mean? Is she saying that both of their families were going to disown them if they didn't do something about their weight, or what?

Don't try to make it into something it's not. Karen meant they weren't going to live long enough-if they remained obese-to see their family grow up. I certainly felt that way yoo. When you have cheldren, you will understand.

Ditto what Nurse Gina said...if you don't even know if they are on the board or not, what should it matter to you. If you have to drag up things to post on TMB because no one will reply to you otherwise, perhaps you shouldn't be!
