Well I haven't seen anything yet as it is all bandaged up but I will later tonight.  No ins. coverage but it wasn't near as bad cost wise as the lower body lift.  If you can get ins. to cover even a little bit, then fabulous!  They should cover it anyway but of course THEY don't think that way!

The no peeing thing was absolutely sheer hell.  They took the catheter out initially at 6:00 am, so by 10:00 I felt like I had to go.  I tried but nuttin'.  We tried turning the water on, I asked the nurse to leave a bit thinking maybe by having someone STARING at you to go might have hindered the process, but still, nothing.  An hour later I tried going but it was just not gonna happen.  By then I was getting upside and just stood there crying because I was in so much pain.  I don't remember what Dr. L.'s "magic number" was, but when the nurse scanned my bladder, she was like, "OMG, you are full"!  Apparently a normal "full" bladder has 500-700 cc in there and I ended up having almost 1500 cc so that caused the big time pain!

I do know the alien fat deposit bulge on my right hip is gone!  The assisting surgeon came in and talked to us in the morning and said they got out a LOT in that leg.  He also said he took off a lot of skin on the inside thighs, too.  Of course swell hell has started so it will be a while before we get to see the final results, too!

I wouldn't have wanted anyone coming out in that birrrr cold so definitely don't worry about it.  Not a whole lot of pain, but I do feel like someone has beat me with a baseball bat today.  OUCH!  This catheter thing is a drag but no biggy.  Heather (my oldest who wants to be a nurse) actually helped out with it a while ago and didn't mind doing it at all.  Hubby won't help with any of it as he's a wuss!  hehehe...

Stay warm!  Hopefully temps warming up here soon!!!

Jill, I'm so sorry you're having bathroom issues!  I'm so happy you're doing well otherwise! Can't wait to hear how hot your legs look!

Me too....Nothing too "hot" on me right now - who knows if ever, but if he could keep those suckers from rubbing together, oh hallelujah!  Time will tell but not for a while with the swelling.  I sorta feel like the Michelin Man right now!

Thanks Vivian....I'm sure all will settle down and work normal again.  Dr. L.'s work is great.  Even now, with swelling, you cannot see any incisions in the legs at all.  They are just placed in such a place where you can't see them from either the front or the back!  The incisions themselves don't really hurt, just feel tight.  LOTS of lipo was done so I'm sore from that.  I'm sure the legs will be black and blue before too long, too.
