My mother just had her RNY last Monday... as in 1/4. She's doing great with it and as far as I know she's loving that she did it. It's NOT TOO LATE to get your life back is what I told my mom and she went with it =)

Tell your Mom that she is NOT too old. My surgeon has done WLS on older people than that. I am not sure that he will do RNY though. Possibly the sleeve or Lapband. Tell her to check into it. She has lots of years left if she doesn't let her health and weight get in the way. Good luck to her....Oh my surgeon does surgery at Wise Regional in Decatur if she is interested.

Did you use Dr. Stowers?? He is my surgen. I would love for mom to use him but she lives in Phoenix. That is the biggest problem. I think if she lived here around me she would have already done it.
