FREAKING FREEZING FRIDAY WLS Express

"Morning!" she says with the coffee steam warming the tip of her nose.  It's not even 9 yet, and we've already had the men come to measure our bathroom for the tile work.  Now our dogs are all excited, running through the house and barking at nobody. 

We woke up to a frozen heater outside, covered in ice.  DH had to thaw it out before the motor burned out.  Glad he caught it quick.

Loving my new keyboard, btw.

I hope Meggie is feeling the prayers coming her way and is able to cope with her trouble.

I'm glad your new keyboard is working-must have been hard work to type with dashes! When does the tile work begin?

Hi, Alissa!  Thanks for asking after me.  How's your feet?  I hope your pain is subsiding.

As for the tilers, they won't be here for a few weeks yet (I think).  We get a new countertop installed next Friday.  Then my DH and brother "plan" to do some carpentry work...move a closet door and bump out a wall.  (Think of the 3 Stooges and you'll understand the quotation marks around plan.)  They know what they're doing.  It's the execution that has me heading for the bandages and Neosporin. 

Once all of that is done, then we'll be ready for the tile work on the shower, floor and wall.

Ah - another great adventure.  As long as I keep everyone in coffee, I think it'll be alright.

Sounds like quite the task. My foot is better, still has some pain. Doing PT 3 times a week and that is helping. Its better when its not freezing cold!
Bryan and his dad are fixing his truck, so my best defense is a nap since I'm in the way. lol.

Without my warming mammal fat that I usually carry around, I must tell you I am freezing! OMG! South Texas is not suppose to freeze!

I hear you Penny! You'll just learn to put the layers on the outside of the body now!!
