I had my band on Dec 11th. I lost 10 lbs as of last week. I weighed today, and I didnt lose anything. I started on mushies last week, I feel like I havent been going crazy with food, but it still is a bummer. I cant get a fill for @ least 2 more weeks. A friend of mine who had this done said that its normal. Anyone else go through this too?

Don't be bummed - everyone is different - I had rny and not a band, but 10 lbs in one week - that's great - look for the positive - try to keep your mind away from negative thoughts.  Take caree and enjoy each success. Gaye

That is very typical with the band.  It takes several fills and lots of tweaking to find your sweet spot.  Hang in there, it's slow go until you start getting fills and feeling restriction.  We have several very successful banders on here, hopefully they will see this and offer some encouragement.

I see alot of talk about this 'sweet spot'. What exactly is it?

The "sweet spot" is when you've had enough fills to lose weight and feel full while doing it.  Sometimes a TENTH of a cc of fluid can make the difference.

Sorry I didn't see your post yesterday....  Hang in there and consider the fact that you lost 10lbs in week one a wonderful thing!!!!!  It is not uncommon to only lose a few pounds... or even gain until you have restriction.  The first few months I had to really "diet"  any weight I lost was because I was really watching what I ate... it had nothing to do with my band!!!!  I had 4 fills before I felt like my band was working.   That was almost 6 months after I got my band!!!  But once you have restriction... you know it!!!!  Don't get discouraged... just continue to make good choices and follow your doctor's instructions and keep up on your fills.  You will do great!!!  Let me know if you have any questions and I will do my best to help.

Good luck!!!!
