Thursday WLS Express-BRRRR
I'm up! Can't say I'm excited about it...woke up with a crappy sinus headache, which I'm sure was triggered by the weather rolling in today. It's not as cold this morning, but it's supposed to snow today. Huntsville is already getting prepared to shut the city down, schools are already closed and the first flake hasn't even fallen yet. I'm gonna curl up with my snuggie and veg until this headache goes away. Ugh! I guess I need to go find some drugs...preferably the nasal spray type. Y'all try to have a wonderful day...cold, snow, ice and all! But most of all...BE SAFE if you are out on the roads!!!!

Good chilly morning. Poor Limo refused to go outside when he saw it was already raining here this morning. I'll have to get Ben to let him out later.
I have plenty more paperwork to do today and then go back to teaching my homebound student today. I wish I would have done the homebound last night since it will be so cold tonight, but set this date up before Christmas.
Prayers for Jenny and Eric, Meggie and Ken, Jill P on her surgery and all others who need them.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE !!
Well - its here..............THE BITTER COLD IS HERE...........
I am jumping on really quick..........called our weather hotline and we are opening 2 hours later......along with the rest of the DAllas metroplex..........so.........with that having been said - I'm gonna go in at regular time.........start to head out EARLY so that I can beat some of the traffic.........i'd rather get stranded and drive in this krap with NO ONE ELSE ON THE ROADS !! They'll find me if I hit the ditch...............LATER ....................lol Just kidding.............I only have less than 5 miles to go to work...........so I"m gonna go anyway...........

I've been hurting the past couple of days.........left knee and left index finger is really swollen.........thinking it is arthritis.......so I grabbed some tylenol arthritis and took that last night.............took the sharpness away - so i'll take it..............hopefully with it being tylenol - it should be safe.........my surgeon told me - stay w/tylenol products and should be okay.......
Got the sinus thingy going on for the past couple of days - so just trying to dodge that......I have several co-workers that have been really sick with the sinus infection thing..........so I'm hoping I don't catch it from them.................
Enough about me for today.................gotta go get ready for work...........

Tylenol isn't hard on your tummy like Advil or Motrin. The generic name for tylenol is acetaminophen. A lot of times you can find the generic cheaper than the name brand. Be sure to follow the precaution statements because too much or too long can cause other problems, but on a limited basis you probably won't have any trouble.
BTW- sinus infections aren't contagious. Colds and such are though. Your office mates may have a viral infection like a cold though so be sure to do plenty of hand washing just in case.

Good Morning TMB!!
Sorry to say, I won't be able to do my usual cheerleading this morning. Maybe later, if all goes well. Will just have to wait and see. Did want to pop in and say hello though. My modem is going in and out for some reason. Works, then quits. A technician was supposed to show up this morning to fix it and hasn't. UGH!!!! Will call later if he doesn't show up or call me. Anyway...
Got started back on Fitday yesterday. Was pleased with my totals last night. Have to admit, being accountable on there helped me make better choices. I know this to be true, so why do I sometimes stop doing it? Must be because I'm human and think I can do it on my own. How false that is - on so many levels!
Also started a class at my church last night. I thought it was going to be different than it is. Turns out, it's probably just what I need. It's a total body approach to complete health that incorporates spiritual, emotional and physical. The ladies teaching it are wonderful (well, one is, lol) and I think I'm going to learn a lot. Plus, it's going to give me a face to face group once a week for accountability. I need that!!
All in all, it's a good week. Except for the fact that I WANT A NEW SCALE!! LOL Not because I don't like the number it's telling me I weigh. It's because it's an old fashioned dial scale. I want a digital scale that gives me a clear reading down to the tenth of a pound. I love exact numbers. When I had surgery I planned to buy a digital scale, but my parents surprised me with this one as a gift and I've just never replaced it since "it works".....ya know? So, now my plans are to replace this one with a digital one. Not sure when, but at some point this year it will happen. LOL

Good morning train riders! I am just gonna say Hi and hope EO stays warm! My friend and her 2 pugs arrived yesterday and we are having a blast! Watched 2 movies last night- I love you, man with Paul Rudd was so cute I really enjoyed it. We also watched Inglourious *******s and it was not really cute but was differant that is for sure! Brad Pitt is always good to look at but it was pretty bloody and dumb...Already had oatmeal and coffee and planning to stay in today. The wind is howling! BRRRRRRR! TTYL! Love to all! Make Good Choices! I will second that!
