For hands and feet they recommend running in warm tap water (not too hot to burn) or soaking in a shallow bowl/pan.  


I do my hands under warm water at the office just so that occassionally I can feel the keyboard through the day and continue to enter data and do my job.........hehehe

((((Phyllis)))) I haven't been on the TMB much because my attitude about food, vitamins and taking care of myself just sucks.  I'm in tears here with you knowing that I MUST get my head in the game.

It seems I've lost all motivation and desire to do what is right.  I'm coming up on 5 years and I need to refocus so I can celebrate that day, not be done on myself because I feel so blah.

Just know you aren't alone, so many of us are stuggling right now.

I think that you may have hit the nail right on the head of the problem............ggggrrrrrrrrrr
I've come too far to fall backwards and fail this too..........I AM NOT GOING TO FAIL AND NEITHER OF ANY OF YOU  BECAUSE WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER........RIGHT???  

I realized something today when I decided to go get some tylenol arthritis meds: When I reached for the ater to take that "pill"........(I hate taking pills).....grrrrr     I'm ashamed to say:   I HAVEN'T BEEN TAKEN ANY OF MY MEDS OR VITS FOR ABOUT 1 MONTH..........Okay - now thats been said................I have started again today...got multi in arleady for today.

 Dana....sorry you are going through this.  Prayers coming your way.   I think we all have "stinking thinking" after the holiday "no no's " that we have done.   UGH I know what you mean...but we CAN'T give up !!!  Hang in there....we are ALL in this TOGETHER !!!!!    Congrats on your upcoming 5 yr. surgiversary !!!   We love ya lady !!!

Where are you?  Do NOT pull away and go into your little shell of protection and denial.  Yes, I know you well enough to know that you're hiding out, but not talking it through and ignoring it is not going to make those feelings go away and it's not going to make you feel better or make the scale read the magic number you're seeking.  Girl, you have to know that you are not alone.  Many of us are going through some of the same emotions.  We are working through it together.  So come on out.  Coach us, teach us, motivate us becuase I also know that doing so helps to get YOUR mind back into the right place.  Post on todays thread and just let us know that you got fluids and vitamins down today.  Very basic, very baby steps.  Two tiny things that you can accomplish today and in the end you'll feel more successful.

I'm here again!!  Joining in yesterday made me think twice about my choices because I felt I had accountability.  This is good.  I need accountability - big time!

Did okay yesterday.  Didn't drink as much water as I should've but made fairly good choices - as in, I didn't snack on cookies and chips all day.  Baby steps, but it made a difference in how I felt.

Today I've had protein coffee and now another cup of coffee.  The liquids are filling me up really good today so I may have protein coffee for lunch too.  Then, some sort of snack mid afternoon.  Dinner....I haven't decided yet, but it will be protein heavy for me with some veggies.  Skipping the bread.  The kids and hubby can have that!

I'm doing OK on the food but I do have to make sure I'm getting enough calories. I'm limiting my protein chai tea to morning and night and the rest has to come from food. I really need to tighten up the water intake. I just don't get thirsty when it's cold!

I am really enjoying the frozen meatballs I found at Kroger. I still haven't found the turkey one's, though.

Today looks like...

B....chai tea, cottage cheese...today was vanilla peach.
L....meatballs with Lite Ragu and slice of parvolone cheese
S....Fage Apple Pie
D....Turkey chili, topped with onions and Fage
LNS...chai tea
