Just so you know, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS & SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

Upcoming Surgeries/current hospitalization:
Sandi B. - Surgery on 1/14 at North Hills Hospital
Sandi B.'s mother is having RNY on 1/4
Kim G. - 1/4 Endoscopy, 1/6 Tonsilectomy, and 1/7 Colposcopy.
Recovering from Surgery:
Ruth (moosie1234) - a friend of mine from the OFF board is recovering from her latest rounds of plastics.
Other prayer requests:
George - prayers for Oleta's mother. She is on hospice care and getting worse every day. Oleta is not as upbeat as usual at this time.
Gina L. - brother Jerry still suffering. Doctors are now leaning towards the problem being stopped up cardiac areteries. He is very depressed and has chronic back pain also.
Jennifer - prayer for the sale of their house in San Antonio. They have made the move to the metroplex but still need to sell their house.
Jeris asks for prayer as she is a single mom to a 4 year old and is in the working world.
July is going through a divorce, requesting prayers for her and her kiddos. We know a divorce is tough, and can be especially tough financially.
Karen the Papaya Queen asks we pray for her son and his GF and their kids. They lost the parental rights to the children, but the decision is under appeal.
Kat's (Iwannabethinnow) friend will have a scan this week to see if the chemo was successful.
Kim G. - has anemia.
Lynne asks for prayer for Miranda as she seeks facility to help her son as well as patience for homeschooling in the meantime.
Meggie is in the hospital with abdominal pains again. She will probably be requiring surgery.
Meggie's mother has breast cancer. She has a large hematoma under it. It is stage 1 cancer and they do not believe it has spread yet and don't think they will need to remove any lymph nodes. Radiation therapy will be everyday for 6-8 weeks.
Nina requests prayers for her cousin Troy who has been in and out of the hospital since Thanksgiving. Also prayers for school enrollment.
Stephanie G. - Her 88 year old mother, Sophie, has bladder cancer and needs to have surgery but failed her EKG. Sending her to a cardiologist for a workup and surgery is postponed until she gets cardiac clearance.
Vanessa (ButterflyReborn) asks for prayers. Her father will be having surgery Dec. 14th in hopes of completely ridding his body of cancer. Also for herself as she will be seeing her doctor on Dec. 17th to discuss removal of mesh and possible reversal. Is really needing some "normalcy" in her life.
Vivian requests prayers for the extra stress in her life due to her son and his girl friend living with her.
Below is one of God's children that definitely need our prayers. This is one specific cases, we know there are others out there. Remember them too.
Gina J. - Pray for her 6 year old Marina, diagnosed with a terminal illness at age 2.

My mom has been taken in for surgery... she's on her way to the loser's bench. I'm so anxious and nervous. She's been asking lots of questions which is good but she hasn't gotten the hint that I've been giving her of GET on OH and get your support too!!! My younger brother is taking a week of vacation to be with her in Sacramento (her Dr requires someone with his patient *signed contract* for the first 7 days 24 hrs a day). He has someone from her church that is able to come in and give him a break... he's gonna need it LOL.
I will post an update once I get the all clear. Thank you in advance for your prayers for a quick and uneventful surgery for my mother.

***UPDATE**** 430 am... All is well... Mom is on the loser's bench... I got the update at I don't have a clue what time cause I was asleep... Brother said that Dr said she was super out of it so recovery was looking like 2 hrs minimum so they sent him home and told him to come back in the am. I replied with thank you and went back to sleep... I knew mom was ok. Will call her at the hospital this morning. Thanks again everyone =)

I'm exhausted. I had a very long day at the office. Things are looking good for me to close my first deal this week which would be great. No only will the commission be nice, but I really want to prove my value.
I'm a little sore from yesterday's workout which is the best feeling. I'm looking forward to having Rachel as my workout buddy starting tomorrow night. My eating was much more in control today and that's pleasing as well.
Now, if I can just stay healthy.

Well, only 48 more hours so kinda starting to get nervous. Keeping VERY busy during the day by running errands with my mom. I will be a basket case on Wednesday for sure. That whole needle thing is realllly starting to freak me out already. OMG, if you only knew how many times my poor arms have been stuck for IV's that were missed, blown, etc. When I had my first plastic surgery, three different nurses attempted the IV and never got it. I was flipping out every time someone else said they could "try".
Sarah started back up with tennis tonight. Rather chilly, but she was ok after she got moving around. Paul wasn't going to let her do it this month figuring it wouldn't be right to ask my dad to drive her to the tennis club two days a week but he didn't care so I signed her up. Might as well get her back into the "groove"!
