Stephanie....if you will call Carnival Cruises directly instead of going through a travel agent you might could get a better rate or some perks from them. 2 yrs ago my entire family ( over 25 people ) went and found out when we boarded the ship that Carnival cruises would have given us a better rate had we gone directly though them. You might check this out. Maybe we could get a cheaper price through them. Just a thought for you.

Sorry Jodie.....I didn't know. I thought I had read her say something about a travel agent !!! I was just letting her know in case she didn't. We went through a travel agent and would have saved lots of money had we gone directly through Carnival Cruises.

Vivian I had originally intended to use a regular travel agent but after doing my research I found that the best deals were through carnival. They don't actually lower the price but the more people we book, the more onboard credit each person gets. Thanks for the input, I'm willing to listen to any advise anyone can give. I mis-spoke when I said travel agent- I meant the chick from Carnival that I'm working with.

Anyway, any news on you? have you decided if you're going to be able to go or not?

When I saw the word "travel agent" I assumed you were going through a travel agent. That is what WE did then learned we could have gotten "perks" going directly through Carnival. Yes....I can go !!! I am so excited !!! My husband came home from work today and said I could go. Also I am giong to talk to Lynne Ruth. I have a WLS friend who helps me head up the Bayley's Breakfast that would like to go too. That is if she can get off work.
