Thanks Steph.  You're right...jeans don't lie....unfortunately.  LOL  Oh well....I refuse to buy a bigger size, so I'm getting back to basics.  Must be done.  :)

As for the cruise, there's just no way since we won't know the ships schedule until he actually gets ON the ship and that won't happen till late August/early September.  Oh well....Maybe next time.

Susan bedtime/late evening snacking kills me too

I try to remember Sharyon telling about Janet answering her "I'm hungry" with Yes dear and you will be in the morning too

just makes me smile - and think ok so going to bed hungry is not going to kill me - not even hurt me except the breaking of the habit.

I have got to get back with that one too - need to plan an evening snack with the kids before the little ones go to bed and then SHUT DOWN THE KITCHEN FOR THE NIGHT - yelling at self not you dear -

Thanks Danni!!!  I had forgotten about that story. It's one of my faves.  And, one I used to remind myself of when I would want to snack at night.  Thanks for reminding me!!! I need to post that on my refrigerator door so I don't open it....and shutting the kitchen for the night is a GREAT idea.  I need to find a closed sign to hang up in there at a certain time every night.  Hmmmm........maybe a cross stitching endeavor once I get the boys afghans finished...  :)  BTW, texting goes both ways.  Text me if you need support too!!!

I used to have a co-worker that when someone offered hersomething yummy she'd say "No thanks, I know what it tastes like".  That always cracked me up too.  I also try to remember that 5 minutes AFTER I eat something, I no longer get the taste or high, I just get the added calories. *sigh* life is tough...why does food have to be so yummy?

LOVE it Steph!!! And what a great point about after 5 minutes you no longer need it.  I'm really working on listening to my body again and not eating that one (or several) bites too many.  Amazing how much less I'm eating since I started paying attention again.  LOL

Okay....  OH needs an app so I can read/post via my blackberry.  I can't spend all day on the computer....  I gotta get off this thing and clean house!!!!  I've only got an hour before I have to leave!!!  YIKES!!!!

OK So yesterday fell apart after taking our sick puppy to the vet and finding out there was no hope. (Adopted from a shelter in Nov. come to find she had distemper )

So today I shall start over.
Coffee with protien
salad for luch and a cup of cream of chicken
chicken enchiladas for dinner

Lots of H2O (might have warm tea )
and walk for at least 30 min.

Thanks , you are right about the accountability. The more you fall of track you tend to stay away from scales and the boards. But that is when it is needed most.

 I did really good till last night.    UGH I am SO mad at myself.    I had only taken in about 1000 calories....maybe less and then animal crackers started calling my name.    Those things may go into the trash if someone else in my house doesn't eat them !!!!

...having a really bad day!

Food is okay, but not wanting to go down, work sucks and mother nature is kicking my arse!

Plan for today (if I can keep it down)....

B-Oatmeal
S-cherrios
L-ham sandwich (really not liking this one right now)
S-protein shake & then Cardio
D-probably brisket leftovers with veggies (if not, another protein shake tonight)

Sorry - just having a bad day....
